Tihl Midurhi: Oh, therrre you are, PLAYERNAME!
Mihl Pakorhma: We were wondering where you'd scamperrred off to!
Tihl Midurhi: Didn't you hear? There's a big powwow at Heavens Tower, and that crusty old Warrrlock Warlord has called for all mercenaries to attend!
Mihl Pakorhma: The boss told us to make sure we didn't forget you!
Tihl Midurhi: What's that? You're not a Cobra, you say? Rrrreally? You could have fooled us!
Mihl Pakorhma: Serrriously! With as much as you've helped us out of late, even the boss thinks you're one of teh gang!
Tihl Midurhi: Besides, Lehko and the Warlock Warlord gave strict orders. They seem to have taken quite an interrrest in you.
Tihl Midurhi: And we're off to Heavens Tower!
In Heavens Tower...
Robel-Akbel: It seems all are present, so I'll begin at once.
Robel-Akbel: I hardly needs to be said that the situation faced by our Federation army -- nay, that of the entire Allied Forces -- is dire.
Robel-Akbel: With the defense of Fort Karugo-Narugo and of Windurst itself, not to mention the recent skirmish at Sauromugue, our resources and manpower are being stretched to their very limits.
Robel-Akbel: The call for backup on the Jeunoan front has only depleted our forces further.
Robel-Akbel: No longer do we have the luxury of sitting around to ponder our next move. We must act, and act now.
Perih Vashai: ...
Robel-Akbel: Nor is Windurst alone. Our allies, too, face the selfsame plight.
Robel-Akbel: It is in these grim times that the Allied Forces have decided to cast the die. To embark on the one path that may yet lead us to victory...
Robel-Akbel: We strike at the heart of the enemy. We move on Castle Zvahl.
Robel-Akbel: The snowswept peaks of Valdeaunia will be the site of our greatest -- our final -- battle.
Lehko Habhoka: ...
Robel-Akbel: From today, the Federation forces will divide into two hosts.
Robel-Akbel: The War Warlocks, under my command, will march on the enemy, while the Mithran Mercenaries remain behind to defend the homeland...
Robel-Akbel: ... With one exception. Romaa and the Cobras, I have chosen you to accompany me north.
Romaa Mihgo: Understood.
Naho Gwanboh: Looks like we've been tapped for housesitting duty again. Borrrring!
Ghyo Molkot: Awww... And here I thought I'd be able to snag the heads of another beastman general or two for my collection!
Robel-Akbel: Are you truly so naive?
Perih Vashai: With our army divided, the city defenses will be stretched thinner still. The Yagudo are not likely to overlook this...
Robel-Akbel: Exactly. You must stay vigilant, and be prepared to defend the Federation at the first sign of enemy movement.
Perih Vashai: Of course, Warlock Warlord. You can rrrely on us.
Robel-Akbel: The rest of you. We will rendezvous with our allies at San d'Oria for a briefing before we embark on the march northward. Ready your belongings and prepare to depart at once.
After the meeting, Lehko, Robel-Akbel and the taru named Prido-Homildo talk...
Prido-Homildo: Reportarus from Sand d'Oria make no mention of any enemy movement in the north. Is this information to be trusted? Or shall we dispatch-watch our own scouts?
Robel-Akbel: There is no need. If there is action, we can surely count on... her... to let us know.
Prido-Homildo: I see... so thataru was your plan in ordering the Leonian War Warlocks to stay posty-wosted up north.
Lehko Habhoka: The next move belongs to the Confederate... but how will they play?
Robel-Akbel: Can we truly succeed without calling upon... "him"?
Lehko Habhoka: ...
Back outside in Windurst Waters (S)
Romaa Mihgo: Tihl, Mihl. You paid a rrrecent visit to San d'Oria, did you not? I'll be counting on you two to lead the way.
Tihl Midurhi: Yessir, boss sir! We've got it covered, rrright Mihl?
Mihl Pakorhma: Leave it to me! I know these strrreets like the back of my paw!
Tihl Midurhi: Looks like we'rrre off to San d'Oria together again, eh, PLAYERNAME? Who'da thunk it? Teeheehee!
Tihl Midurhi: I mean, it's not every day that a Mithra like me gets to bond with someone from your part of the world, rrright?
Tihl Midurhi: Traveling to far-off lands, good friends at your side... I shouldn't say it, but at times like this, I almost feel liek this war isn't all bad, y'know?
Romaa Mihgo: Are you mercenaries or little kittens on a picnic? Enough with the vapid prrrattle!
Romaa Mihgo: PLAYERNAME, you heard the Warlock Warlord. We'll be waiting for you in San d'Oria!
Raustigne: Ho there! PLAYERNAME from fair Windurst, are you not? Well met!
Raustigne: No doubt your legs are weary from the raod, but I have orders to escort you to the castle at once. All parties have assembled, and there is much that needs to be discussed.
Valaineral R Davilles: ...As has been confirmed by the Kingdom's elite scouts...
Lehko Habhoka: (Ah, PLAYERNAME, I was wondering when you'd show up! Quickly, over here... the meeting's already begun!)
Valaineral R Davilles: And who might this gentleman be?
Robel-Akbel: A mercenary under our command. Pardon the interruption, please continue.
Lehko Habhoka: (The stately looking fellow doing all the talking is Valaineral R Davilles, Captain of the San d'Orrrian Royal Guards. He's brrriefing all officers on the tactical situation as it currently stands.)
Valaineral R Davilles: Hosts from each of the three beastman nations -- Orc, Quadav and Yagudo -- are mobilizing in the north even as we speak. We have every reason to believe that they do so at the behest of the Shadow Lord himself.
Valaineral R Davilles: The Confederate has divided their forces between the Tavnazian and Valdeaunian fronts. Both are amassing resources and manpower, girding themselves for a full-scale offensive on our lands.
Valaineral R Davilles: Any further delay will mean our certain destruction.
Valaineral R Davilles: Thusly, we move at once. We march on Valdeaunia and commence the siege of Castle Zvahl forthwith.
Valaineral R Davilles: Our first objective will be to establish position in Xarcabard and the Beaucedine Glacier. From there, we will surround Castle Zvahl and strike at the heart of our foe.
Valaineral R Davilles: Commanders, ready your troops for the battle of their lives. We leave for Valdeaunia on the morrow.
Valaineral R Davilles: A detailed briefing will be held upon our arrivals.
Valaineral R Davilles: In closing, a word to all of you.
Valaineral R Davilles: I stand here, and see before me Windurstians, Bastokers, and San d'Orians. I see men and women who, in days past, might once have crossed swords as enemies.
Valaineral R Davilles: To see you today, united under one banner for the glory of the Goddess, fills me with pride such as I have never known.
Valaineral R Davilles: The battle will be arduous, the enemy unyielding. But with your courage and valor, Altana's children will live to see a brighter day. Dismissed!
The next day, you're with the forces outside, mounted on chocobos, ready to leave.
Pattna-Ottna: Warlock Warlord, sir!
Pattna-Ottna: An urgentaru transmission has just come in from the Leonian War Warlocks! P-p-please, takey-wake a lsiten!
Doron-Fulun: Master Caster Doron-Fulun of the Leonian War Warlocks reportaruing, Warlock Warlord sir! I have grave news!
Robel-Akbel: This is Robel-Akbel. Speak.
Doron-Fulun: Our scouts justaru returned from Castle Zvahl, and -- Wh-wh-what the --? What are you doing!? L-l-let go of me!!! Noooooooooooo!!!
Robel-Akbel: ?
Pattna-Ottna: Have we... lostaru him?
Back on Zvahl, Doron-Fulun is KO'd by a fiery blast... his assailant then raises him.
Doron-Fulun: <...>
???: O~hohohohoho!
???: Be quiet for a spell, and listen good and well.
Pattna-Ottna: (That voice...!?)
???: As you march unwittingly toward the Shadow Lord's front door, the enemy has stealthily prepared another, secret corps.
???: What's more, this second army has been set in motion. A direct assault on Windurst, would appear to be their notion.
???: Ten thousand or more, by my rough count. No matter how you slice it, a formidable amount.
Robel-Akbel: What!?
???: I might have handled them on my own, if I weren't stuck with your hapless War Warlocks to chaperone.
???: Robel-Akbel. Amend your plans on the double, or watch as the Federation is reduced to so much rubble!
Back at San d'Oria:
Robel-Akbel: Your report is appreciated, Professor. That was exactly the information I needed to plot the necessary countermeasures.
Robel-Akbel: The Allied Forces will proceed for Valdeaunia as scheduled. You and the Leonians are to join us there.
???: Yes, I suppose I can do as you say. Though I'll trust you not to get in my way! O~hohohohoho!
Robel-Akbel: And so it begins...
Robel-Akbel: Lehko! Send word to the Federation at once.
Robel-Akbel: Their numbers exceed our estimates. You are to take command of the Cobras and stave the enemy off at Karugo-Narugo.
Lehko Habhoka: Understood.
Valaineral R Davilles: My esteemed Robel-Akbel, whatever is the commotion?
Robel-Akbel: Excuse my discourtesy, Lord Valaineral. It appears that the Federation will ahve some unexpected guests. I've ordered Lehko and the Cobra Mercenaries back to the fort.
Valaineral R Davilles: Guests, you say?
Valaineral R Davilles: ... I see. Once you've regaled them properly, make haste to join us in the north. The battle will nto be won without your aid.
Lehko Habhoka: Yes, milord.
Lehko Habhoka: Well, Romaa, PLAYERNAME... you heard the Warlock Warlord. We'd best head back to make preparrrations for the banquet.
Lehko Habhoka: But before that... Well, it would be the height of rrrudeness to show up at the party empty-handed, don't you think?
Lehko Habhoka: What say we bring back a prrresent to liven up the festivities a tad?
Romaa Mihgo: A present, you say?
Lehko Habhoka: Hehehe... don't worry, I have just the thing in mind. A few hours ago, on the way to the briefing, I came across and Allied supply carrrravan transporting a stockpile of arms.
Lehko Habhoka: A quick peek inside the wagon turned up some items of particular interest: darkfire cinders and floelight stones...
Lehko Habhoka: I figurrre they wouldn't miss a few of them... what do you think?
Romaa Mihgo: You're not suggesting that we steal from the Allied arrrsenal?
Lehko Habhoka: Steal...? Hardly! As full-fledged members of the Allied Forces, we have as much right to these supplies as anyone! Why leave them to collect dust in an armory somewhere when we could put them to so much better use, no?
Romaa Mihgo: I'm not so surrre about this one...
Lehko Habhoka: Come on, have I ever led you astrrray? Trust me... I have a plan.
Lehko Habhoka: Remember our recent skirmish? It was that magic-resistant armor the beastmen were wearing that proved so trrrroublesome.
Lehko Habhoka: If we could somehow use the darkfire cinders and floelight stones to prduce ammunition that could pierce through their protection...
Lehko Habhoka: We could blast their magic armor right off, and rrrender them all but defenseless before they even know what's hit them!
Romaa Mihgo: Ever the rrresourceful one, aren't you, Lehko? Fine. You can take responsibility when Valaineral comes for our heads!
Lehko Habhoka: Hahaha... when our plan wins us a rrrousing victory at Karugo-Narugo, he's more likely to award us medals of honor!
Lehko Habhoka: All right! First, to convince tht stern-looking gentleman over there of the righteousness of our cause...
Note: The transcript of this segment may be different depending upon the answers you choose.
Lehko Habhoka: (All right, I'm counting on your, PLAYERNAME! A few arrtful words, and the darkfire cinders and floelight stones will be ours!)
Lehko Habhoka: A moment of your time, good sir?
Bauberliond: Yes? I'm a busy man. State your business, then begone with you.
Lehko Habhoka: Oh, t'will only be a second. I couldn't help but notice the darkfire cinders and floelight stones you were carrying just before...
Hauberliond: Yes? What of them? They are reserve armaments that we were transporting to our secret cache. Can't very well leave such dangerous materials lying about the streets, after all.
Lehko Habhoka: Oh, but certainly! I can see that you are most prrrudent in your duties! But this cache you speak of... might I inquire as to its whereabouts?
Hauberliond: Why, ah -- thank you, kind sir. I most certainly endeavor to be! As for the stockpile, we recently relocated it to--
Hauberliond: ...Wait a minute. I've not seen your faces before. Are you truly soldiers of the Allied Forces? State your affiliation!
Choose The Mithra Mercenaries.
Hauberliond: I see... And just what sort of outfit might that be?
Choose To Cut Down Enemies With Our Swords.
Hauberliond: Is that so...? And you say that you serve the Allied Forces of Altana?
Choose Our Lives for the Goddess!
Hauberliond: I ask you, how do you suppose this war will end?
Choose The Allied Forces will Triumph!
Hauberliond: Indeed... and what do you feel holds the key to this conflict!?
Chooes Our visitor from the future.
Hauberliond: Incidentally, why is it that you seek the darkfire cinders and floelight stones?
Choose To Save Windurst!
Hauberliond: Very well, then. I can see that you are loyal servants of Altana. Forgive me for having doubted you. One can never be too careful these days...
Hauberliond: The supplies have been moved to Jugner Forest in preparation for any regional skirmishes that may arise. You are welcome to whatever you deem necessary for your cause.
Hauberliond: Oh, and I'd be remiss not to tell you that they've been well hidden. Buried, actually. It wouldn't do to have them discovered by beastman curs, after all.
Lehko Habhoka: Many thanks, loyal soldier! May the Goddess be with you!
Lehko Habhoka: Well, PLAYERNAME, it looks like we're making a detour to Jugner Forest!
Romaa Mihgo: Very well. I shall return to the fort and rrready our defenses.
Lehko Habhoka: Yes, by all means. Let us make haste, PLAYERNAME. We mustn't be late for the party!
Lehko Habhoka : Looks like we've got the ingredients we came for, PLAYERNAME.
Now, all we need to do is spice them up a bit...and we'll have a dish that'll be the hit of the party!
Lehko Habhoka : I've heard of these stones being used in the making of particularly potent enchanted arrowheads.
Let me take care of them. I've got a friend in the Windurst Boneworkers' Guild who owes me a favorrr or two.
Lehko Habhoka : As for the cinders... If my memorrry serves, these are used in the casting of what we call beastbane bullets.
Lehko Habhoka : I'll leave them to you.
We'll give those beastmen a welcome they won't soon forget.
Lehko Habhoka : Now, the only place I rrrecall that could handle an order for beastbane bullets is the Gunpowder Room in Bastok.
Lehko Habhoka : But they've sealed their gates tight to outsiders ever since the war began...
Lehko Habhoka : If we were to go there now, we'd be turrrned away without a second though.
Lehko Habhoka : But you already know what I'm thinking...don't you, PLAYERNAME?
Lehko Habhoka : It's time for you to help us, in the way that only you can...
Lehko Habhoka : We'll be waiting for you at Fort Karugo-Narugo.
And do hurry...our guests are unlikely to have qualms about arriving early.
Lehko Habhoka : May the Goddess protect you!
Striking Snake : Yes? You need something?
I've no time for idle chitchat.
Striking Snake : Son of a hexagun! Are those darkfire cinders?
What in the Goddess' name are you doing with those?
Striking Snake : I see, I see.
Bullets to blast through magic armor, you say?
Striking Snake : You wouldn't happen to be lookin' for something like the old beastbane bullets they used back in the Great War, would you?
Striking Snake : Ahh...stirs up memories in this old Galka's soul, it does.
After the war ended, I never thought I'd hear the name again.
Striking Snake : Goddess only knows what you'd want with those old things...but yes, I think I could do it for you.
There's just one catch. The casting process requires some rather...rare...ingredients.
Striking Snake : Liquid quicksilver and gelid sulfur, to be exact.
Striking Snake : Provide me with what I need, and the job is as good as done.
Striking Snake : Where to find them, you ask? I haven't a clue.
They say there was once a plentiful supply in North Gustaberg, but it was exhausted completely by the war's end...
Striking Snake : Oh no, well look at this! It seems I underestimated you.
Well, a promise is a promise...one order of beastman-blasting bullets, coming right up!
Striking Snake : Good craftsmanship takes time, but I'll be done before you know it.
Why don't you head to the Markets and try to catch yourself a gold carp or two while you wait?
Striking Snake : I was wondering when you'd come back.
Here you are, one order of beastbane bullets, just like we used to make 'em!
Striking Snake : I even took the liberty of making a few improvements to the old recipe.
One blast from these and even the most potent magical armor will be reduced to little more than scrap metal.
Striking Snake : My fee? Hah! Don't mention it!
I haven't enjoyed my work this much in years.
If you come across any other curiousities, you know where to find me!
Obtained key item: Beastbane bullets.
Rotih Moalghett : Oh, look who's rrreturned!
It's PLAYERNAME...and Master Lehko!
Lehko Habhoka : It seems your mission was a success, PLAYERNAME.
Wonderful! I knew my trrrust in you wasn't misplaced.
Rotih Moalghett : Master Lehko, we went to work as soon as we received word.
The fort's defenses have been bolstered to maximum capacity.
All mercenaries stand at the rrready!
Lehko Habhoka : Excellent.
Romaa Mihgo : Welcome back, PLAYERNAME.
Romaa Mihgo : Well, Lehko?
Where's the "present" you promised us?
Lehko Habhoka : Have I ever let you down before?
Feast your eyes...on this!
Perih Vashai : Are those...what I think they arrre?
Lehko Habhoka : Beastbane arrowheads and beastbane bullets.
We'll see how well the birdmen's sorcerrrous mail protects them now.
Naho Gwanboh : <Purrrrrr...> You sure know how to make a girrrl happy, Master Lehko.
Lehko Habhoka : All right. We've no time to lose!
Dispense the ammunition to the arrrchers and the musketeers.
We prepare for battle!
Lehko Habhoka : How do we stand?
Any sign of the enemy?
Perih Vashai : No, Master Lehko.
My Anacondas are standing watch from the lookout spirrres, but we've yet to--
Kapeh Myohrye : Major!
Kapeh Myohrye : The enemy is upon us!
They come...from above!
Ahriman and demons are spotted in the sky...
Naho Gwanboh : Grrrrrr...what in the hell are those!?
Romaa Mihgo : We've got ourselves some nasty ones this time, girls.
Ghyo Molkot : All the better, I say!
I've grrrown tired of feasting on nothing but roasted fowl.
Rotih Moalghett : Boss, look!
From the fore...!
Yagudo approach with an army...
Perih Vashai : Looks like our old friends couldn't bear to be left out of the parrrty.
Romaa Mihgo : An attack on two fronts?
This calls for the experrrtise of our resident tactical genius...
Lehko Habhoka : All right.
Now listen up, ladies...
Lehko Habhoka : The enemy outnumbers us, but we own the advantage of the ground.
Follow the orders I give to the letter, and Fort Karugo-Narugo will still stand tomorrow.
Lehko Habhoka : Anacondas! Fall into formation and let loose your arrows against our aerial foes!
Romaa! You and your Cobras will cover them from below!
Lehko Habhoka : Naho and the Cheetahs, move outside the walls! Let me see your celebrated marksmanship!
Ghyo and your Tigresses, defend them and keep the enemy at bay!
Lehko Habhoka : This time, our enemy comes not from beneath the surrrface, but from the sky.
Lehko Habhoka : We stand as the last line of defense between those fiends and the Federation.
Heed well what I am about to say.
Lehko Habhoka : The Fivespires of Karugo-Narugo and its main tower--the Spiritwell--provide the magical energy for the barrier that shelters Windurst.
If they fall, there will be nothing to stop the enemy from running roughshod over the city.
Lehko Habhoka : Do I make myself clear? Not a single enemy blade or claw is to so much as scrrratch the spires or the Spiritwell.
We strike them down here, every last foul one of them.
Perih Vashai : Yes, Master Lehko, sir!
Romaa Mihgo : All right, girls...don't let up until the last drrrop of unholy blood has been spilled.
Naho Gwanboh : Rrright, right...can we stop with the talking and get on with the fighting, already?
Lehko Habhoka : To your positions, ladies!
We hold this fort with our lives!
Romaa Mihgo : You heard the man!
Mercenaries, move out!
Romaa Mihgo : Hear me, Cobras! Drrraw not your blades against the beasts in the air!
Leave those to Perih and her girls.
Romaa Mihgo : When they touch down, that is when we strike!
Lure them into single combat in narrow corridors.
On the ground, the advantage of terrain is ours!
Perih Vashai : Steady, steady...
Hold your fire until you can see their beady red eyes!
Perih Vashai : Let your arrows be the rain, and bring down every last one.
We can't afford to give Romaa too many playmates!
Romaa Mihgo : All right, girrrls...here they come.
Steel yourselves for battle!
Perih Vashai : Steady now...steady...
Firrrrrre!
Tihl Midurhi : Eek!
Romaa Mihgo : Engaaaaaage!
Naho Gwahboh : Almost in rrrange...
Ready, aim...
Ghyo Molkot : Hey, ragfeather! Trrry this on for size!,br>
Naho Gwahboh : Dunno 'bout you, but I feel my appetite for poultry rrreturning.
Ghyo Molkot : Why yes, spit-rrroasted bird sound positively delightful!
Romaa Mihgo : Tihl, Mihl, PLAYERNAME!
I'll hold them off at the Spiritwell!
You three see to the spire of Falconeye, to the west!
Tihl Midurhi : Leave it to us, boss!
Tihl Midurhi : The spire...
Mihl Pakorhma : Yeeeowww!
Tihl Midurhi : Mihl! Are you okay!?
Tihl Midurhi : C'mon, let's get 'em!
Mihl Pakorhma : Tihl!
Tihl Midurhi : Over there...!
Mihl Pakorhma : Is there any...end to them?
Tihl Midurhi : PLAYERNAME, behind you!
Mihl Pakorhma : Tihl!
Tihl Midurhi : PLAYERNAME, Mihl! The western spire's in danger!
I'll hold off this one! Go quickly!
Tihl Midurhi : There's a small door at the base of the spire.
Inside are the controls for the magical barrierrr Master Lehko spoke of.
The enemy can't be allowed within!
Demons begin to attack the tower...
Mihl Pakorhma : But...Tihl!
Tihl Midurhi : I said I can handle him!
Since when are you the veterrran here? I'm every ilm the Cobra you are!
Mihl Pakorma : R-rrright...of course.
We'll be back! Give 'em hell, Tihl!
Tihl Midurhi : ...
Perih Vashai : Grrrrrr...there's too many of them.
Romaa! How fares the western flank?
Romaa Mihgo : PLAYERNAME is leading the defense with Tihl and Mihl...Falconeye should hold!
Tihl stands in a tunnel, injured...
Tihl Midurhi : Urrrgh!
My leg!
Tihl Midurhi : No matter...just a few minutes rest and I'll be rrright back on my feet.
Demons surround her...
Tihl Midurhi : Ah...ha ha.
No such luck, it seems.
Tihl Midurhi : Looks like it's time for this tigress to bear her fangs...
Tihl Midurhi : Bring it on, you hellborn monstrrrosities!
Tihl Midurhi : Keeeeee-yaaaaaaaaahhh!
Tihl charges at the demons with explosives in her hands. An explosion goes off and demons run into the tunnel.
Romaa Mihgo: The fighting is done for the day.
Romaa Mihgo: How do we stand?
Perih Vashai: Falconeye and the Spiritwell rrremain intact and functional, thanks to the bravery, Tihl and Mihl. All else... has been lost.
Lehko Habhoka: So we succeeded in repelling the enemy charge... at the cost of our stronghold.
Perih Vashai: What of our trrroops? Any casualties?
Mihl Pakorhma: Boss, come quickly! It's Tihl! She's... she's...
Romaa Mihgo: What!?
Romaa Mihgo: ...
Tihl is dead on the ground.
Romaa Mihgo: Goddess have merrrcy.
Mihl Pakorhma: No... Tihl... you can't be... Tihl... It's me, Mihl! Can you hear me? Open your eyes, Tihl! Please, open... your... waaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!
Rotih Moalghett: It would appear that she fended our foe's primary charge on the Spiritwell before... succumbing to her wounds.
Lehko Habhoka: ...
Mihl Pakorhma: Tihl... if only I had -- If I only hadn't... left you back there...
Mihl Pakorhma: Tiiiiihl.... Waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Romaa Mihgo: ...
Romaa Mihgo: Dry your eyes, soldier!
'''Mihl Pakorhma:
Romaa Mihgo: This is a warrr we're fighting, or have you forgotten!? Tihl gave her life to protect our land against the armies of darkness!
Romaa Mihgo: Her noble sacrrrifice was not in vain. You dishonor her memory with your childish tears!
'''Mihl Pakorhma: ... Tihl...
Outside, Romaa Mihgo falls to her knees.
Lehko Habhoka: Romaa...?
Romaa Mihgo: I remember the first time I took Tihl to my favorite fishing hole, to teach her to hook a lure. It was back on the old continent, not so many years ago... She was merely a kit, Lehko...
Romaa Mihgo: Then, only a few years later... it was also I who taught her to strrring her first bow, to brandish her first blade...
Romaa Mihgo: What are we doing here, Lehko, so far from home? Is this truly our battle to fight?
Lehko Habhoka: Romaa...
???: An abysmal state, indeed.
Lehko Habhoka: !?
Carbuncle appears.
???: Lehko. We've no time for a campfire chat, so I'll be brief.
Lehko Habhoka: (Sheesh... you sure know how to give a man a frrright.)
Lehko Habhoka: (But should you be showing yourself in broad daylight like that? If the enemy were to --)
Lehko Habhoka: (...Then again, I suppose this is no time to worry about appearrrances.)
???: (All too true. You may have repelled the attack, but from the looks of it, the magical properties of the spires are as good as lost...)
Lehko Habhoka: (I'm sorry. I couldn't...)
???: (No, you did well to limit our losses.)
???: (Without the efforts of your mercenaries, we would have seen worse... and sooner. No, our day is not yet done.)
Lehko Habhoka: (...)
???: (That said, it would seem that only one option remains...)
Lehko Habhoka: (Do you mean...?)
???: (Yes, it would seem the time has come...)
Romaa Mihgo: Sorry for the awkward moment back there, PLAYERNAME. Tears don't befit a Mercenary Major, do they?
Romaa Mihgo: But everything will be fine. The girls might be down in spirrrit now, but they'll pull together and ensure Tihl's death wasn't in vain.
Romaa Mihgo: Here. I want you to have this.
Romaa Mihgo: It's just like the one Tihl used to wear. She always thought of you as a good friend, PLAYERNAME. Promise me you'll rrremember her from time to time, okay?
Romaa Mihgo: Well, I do say that's enough tearrrs for the day. If Tihl were here, she wouldn't want to see us mope and brrrood.
Romaa Mihgo: Besides, we still have a long road ahead of us. Well, PLAYERNAME, shall we head back to Windurst?
