Kaon (VG)
Kaon is a chaos god who was worshiped by a cult of High Elves who took control of the Lyceum of Ingolas. The chaotic beings from his plane of existence have made an incursion in many areas close to Leth Nurae, often manifesting as corrupted fey and spiders.

- Using Kaonic energies -- this corrupts the caster both in spirit and body. The physical change begins from the hands that wield the Kaonic magic, twisting them.

Kaon is a god from the outside -- an alien god, if you will -- now seeking entrance to Telon. Some view this as an invasion, but some have become seduced by his power and believe him to be a great teacher. Kaonic forces are attacking Leth Nurae. The Kaonic Invasion became roughly twenty years ago. The Lyceum of Ingolas was the first to fall. There are whispers that this is due to a cult called 'The Cult of the Whisper', and their leader Ghaldrid.

- What caused the downfall of the Lyceum of Ingolas?
"To be honest I am not exactly sure of all the details. I was but a child when the ordeal took place, but I have learned a few things from my elders. The Lyceum used to be a peaceful place where Elven magic students came to reclaim once lost Elven magic through study. However, during the Orc and Goblin invasion, many of the Lyceum's top students were sent to aid the resistance and during their absence a secret cult known as 'The Cult of the Whisper' rose up and overtook the school."
- Who led this uprising, and why did they do it?
"A student by the name of Ghaldrid was the leader of the cult. It is said that Ghaldrid was the student who was most heavily gifted with the powers of chaos. We have reason to believe that he is still somewhere inside of the Lyceum. The Kaon threat has been very taxing on the Elvish people, and now to make matters worse representatives from the Sages Arcane have shown up to get involved."
