It would be great if you would mention the portable crafting stations that are a great asset to saving you running back and forth. I would have taken some with me had I known how useful they would be.

Every area in the crafting series has the crafting station you need. Although the one at Yeppa's Last Stand can occasionally be in the path of zombies. If you look at the Quest Series page, each POI has a lit of Crafting Amenities which includes the location of crafting stations. The location of crafting stations is also mentioned in the quest walkthroughs the first time they're handy.
