Exactly. The Sexy Shoeless God of War isn't going to die like a bitch from being thrown out a window 15 seconds into a fight.

Not against Durkon anyway. Maybe versus Xykon/MitD later or something.

I'm a little curious how he could do so poorly against a dire wolf in the first place. Isn't he a high level ranger? I get that this is like a vampiric dire wolf, but still. Maybe he intentionally did poorly to rush the fight and force Darkon to have to get rid of him via the window rather than killing him right there (although, you'd wonder if he's that concerned about leaving bodies lying around).

I'm thinking Belkar got some kind of feather fall or ring of flying or something after getting tossed off the ship so may times (ok, forced to jump. Whatever). Or something else will happen. Who knows?

I'd put money on his survival being the punchline for a future comic. Something like he bounced off an airship's balloon.

While I'm betting, put me down for HelDurkon on the "nay" side.

Wow. Yet another update.

Things look grim for our heroes. Somehow, I don't think the world will get destroyed just yet though. Soon, maybe. But not yet.

So Thor wants to nix Midgar and start over, and Loki is an unconvincing public speaker. Smiley: dubious

So either the world is saved or it's a stalemate all around. Are there any Norse Gods missed that could be the tiebreaker vote?

Unfortunately not as he had withdrawn his application to the Norse Pantheon, much to Odin's regret.

The Eastern pantheon was the Classical Greek gods who were all slaughtered by the Snarl the first time it emerged.

Obviously the story isn't going to end right now with the world being un-made I have no idea where Burlew is going with this. Maybe we'll get six months of riveting filibuster action from Durkon/Hel tying up the vote.

Goes to show just how much I'm paying attention, I guess. Smiley: blush

I'd like to think something would happen with the next chapter, considering it's 1,000 and all.

I believe there's another book after this one so...
