This forum challenge was titled Oktoberfest Portrait Forum Challenge and 6 winners were selected to have their paintings immortalized. [1] These paintings are expected to be available on Sanya Farshore during the City Festivals starting on November 1, 2010.
After the announcement of the Oktoberfest Forum Challenge winners, it was originally thought that these paintings would only be available during the month of November 2010. [2] However the paintings have made a return in December 2010 and can be assumed to be a fixture at the festivals until announced otherwise.
They will cost 10 City Tokens each.
This forum challenge was titled Notable Norrathians and 10 winners were again selected to have their paintings immortalized.[3] These paintings will be available on Sanya Farshore during the City Festivals starting on September 1, 2010.
The cost of the paintings is 10 City Tokens each. On 9/1/2010, EQ2 Community Manager Amnerys stated: "Just got confirmation from the dev team that there are no plans to remove the paintings from the festival right away. They could go away at some point, I suppose, but for now they are planning to leave them be as the festival travels." [4]
On November 24th, 2009, to honor EQ2's 5th birthday, the nine runner-up paintings were available for a limited time on city merchants during the Heroes Festival. The 2009 winning painting has remained available on your local city merchant and is titled Destroyer of Ordanach.
