The Withered Lands were once known as the Wakening Lands, formerly inhabited by panthers, raptors, holgresh, and geonids, to name a few. It was also the home to the Plane of Growth, tended to by the satyrs of the forest. The once lush region has been taken by a rampant corruption that is even affecting many of the satyr Protectors of Growth.
The dragon city of Skyshrine, ruled by Yelinak and his Claws of Veeshan, still is accessible from the Withered Lands. Droags who name themselves Dracurions are allied with the Claws; yet they are under siege by the Awakened.
Due to a dragon of the Awakened patrolling the skies of the Withered Lands, air travel is frequently not safe. Travelers attempting such transportation may frequently find themselves being forced from the skies. It is rumored that there is a way to make the skies safe once more, but it will require gaining the trust of many...
