Silithus is found in the southwestern corner of Kalimdor. It is a vast, inhospitable desert that can only be reached by traveling to the northwestern corner of Un'Goro Crater and taking the small path out of the crater up into Silithus.

This horrifically hot zone is one of the most heavily infested sections of Kalimdor. The remains of the once great Aqiri empire, known as Ahn'Qiraj, is found here, as well as massive Silithid colonies and the Cenarion Circle are found here. The Cenarion Circle maintains an outpost for adventurers and travelers at Cenarion Hold, where they monitor the Silithids and the Brood of Nozdormu, who have returned here for the first time in over ten thousand years.
