That is incorrect. I've done the quest twice, never used identify on any of the items, and determined the gold nuggets by attempting to sell to vendors. The fools gold nuggets in fact do not sell to the vendors.

Although Iksar foraging is capped at 50, Iksar forage from the entire forage table, so they can get any of the special forages in a zone.
Plains pebbles are also used in cultural armor, and the reason the nodrop tag was removed from them is so that they can be given to a cleric at some point.

On the subject of twinking noobs, I have to ride the fence. I (a 1st time player w/ a HE Magician) was given money for my initial spells & some food. I later earned my fortune auctioning Bone chips an Bat Wings to Nec's and questers. I have lucked out several times, was sold a Flowing Black Robe for |

I have to agree JT.
I also do this quest over and over again and sell the spells back to Yeolarn Bronzeleaf. I don't have need for bone chips and if noone is around who is shouting for them i sell them to the Clerics Guild.

The reason the invis wore off when you traded was because you weren't sneaking. Invis wears off in trades, such as a person to person trade, or a merchant window. Try sneaking behind him next time, after invis gets you to him. |

This quest is good for nearly anyone. All you need to do is get a stack of bonechips and do the quest.By the time you are finished your faction should be much better(or worse if your a ally with "the dead"). Also for all level 1 clerics it gets one of your best level 1 spells and a faction boost. So |

I dunno...the tangible reward is kinda lame, but the items that are required for it are relatively commone and easy to get. I am sure that in addition to the rather lame-o shield, you will also get a faction bump, some small amount of cash, and some exp (pro'ly a good amount at this low level). Re |

Exactly!! If you have gold and can't get it identified go to a merchant and sell it. And as it says at the very top the merchants will not buy the fools gold from you. So if you have a piece the merchant will not buy from you...you just "identified" it as being the fools gold that you need to do |

"This is the only shield a monk can use?"
Explain to me why the only class BORN with dual wield would care about being given a 4ac shield when for their entire career they're going to use 2-hand blunt, or more likely double their attack power with dual 1hb or fists. |
