Thats an old SS.
Supposidly the designer put mana there as a joke, and forgot to correct it.
The first or 2nd patch after these were found changed the mana to hp.
One of these days I'll get a pair and up a new SS for Allak to post.

I have seen this item a few times now and each time it has come from the Captian of the Gaurd, The Capt is about lvl 40 give or take a lvl or 2, the Capt also drops the CoM anicent coin (bard quest)along with a crummy shield

Yes that is strange that the new rogue planar stuff is not Barbarian wearable..but Barb's can be rogues...
But then again its not like Verant hasnt ever screwed up like that :) |

Strange, barbarians can wear the gloves. I wonder why not the chestguard...
As you can see by the guild emblem, the picture has been edited, so i can only guess whether it is authentic or not. |

I am happy this isn't barb wearable. i am so sick of every rogue i see being a green con barb rogue with better equip than me. TTTHHHHHHPPPPTTT!! put that in yer ear. |

You're the one who needs glasses... or a brain.
Sometimes the information posted is slightly off or mistaken. A typo or even an assumption ("Barbarians can be rogues so this item must be equipable by Barbarians") by the person putting the information in can lead to all kinds of problems. |

i know the coldain vellium weapons proc at lvl 1 with a 12 pt dd, but what about the regular velium weapons, i have a velium rapier on my 15 SK and it hasnt proc'ed, im gonna try giving it to my 21 ranger and see if it procs |

It doesn't proc at 14? Bleh. Even if it procs as low as 15, by the time my 12 warrior can get this weapon to proc he'll be able to afford a better (AND CHEAPER) weapon, like a northman claymore (smithed item, 14/44). That makes me a sucker for spending his life savings on this stupid thing.

Gorgul Longshanks is a named giant with HUGE hp (think MG patriarch here) Took me an hour to kite him (started at 50 mana) He did not drop the legs. Instead dropped a runebranded dark shield (BAR, TRO, OGR only SHD, WAR, SHA only) ac 15 STR+5 sv magic poison and disease +10. It's an ok shield.. |

Either you have a different weapon, or this is different for different classes. I have this on an 18th level Warrior, and it does not proc yet.

This guy isnt too far in. He drops some cheezy dagger too. Looks neat tho, hes in the center of the two other giants on the ice fishing. there are 2 above him and a crystal stairway to the right of him. he looks kind of unique compared to the others. not hard to miss.
