| The axe's graphic was changed a while ago, it has the same appearance as the Executioner's Axe from Lguk. The proc is 80 dmg lifetap, unresisstable, hits for 50 dmg on Players. Makes for a great low aggro dmg dealing weapon for non-MT warriors. | ||||

| I got this wep in 2 days fighting Clawbeasts at lvl 14/15. I have used it to keep up my 1HB skills, paired with my horns of spirits it is a nice combo that I still use at lvl 30for the str +3 and sta +3 adds. Not as nice as my slime covered harpoon but a great way to keep skills up. | ||||

| I have 2 of these the deathmaw I got about lvl 12 and never used it. I got the Claw beast one in 2 days at level 15. | This is a monk only item.. LOL, sorry couldn't resist. You are right though, not one monk has even posted here about this being a monk item. By the time this is obtainable any desent monk is going to have better in there range slot. Also the majority of monks go for AC/Str gear over Agility gear. | ||||

| Need before greed is a great concept, but if you're a caster the fact is more things drop for melee than casters so you should roll for everything non-nodrop. | Have to agree with poster below. I have been socking away (most gained from Najena) the temper ingridients(sp?) which are incridibly rare drop, well the lava rock anyway. | While it is a nice a decent head item - it's heavy because its not really meant to be worn - it's part that insane epic they make us mages do ). Still a nice item and I would have prolly worn on my mage despite the weight if I didn't already have a Runed Cowl. | ||||
