| whats with all the conflict? Its simple,a short sword is only a few inches longer than a dagger. They both can stab and they both can slash. | Actually, the bastard sword is 20damage 45dly, so ratio is a bit better, and the lower delay means more taunt, but they are pretty similar. Get both and train both skills. | ||||

| It is true that melee items are more common than pure caster items. However, you must remember that us rogues, warriors, and monks are much more dependent upon our gear to make us effective than are straight casters. Granted, gear will make a big difference for casters, too, but consider this. A | ||||

| Not true at all I have a Glowing Black Sword and a Wakizashi od the Frozen Skies and the GBS procs way more often probly seven or eight procs a fight where as the Wak procs up to four times a fight for me but lots of times it doesn't even proc once. | ||||
