its a nice weapon but i really don't think it matches the risk you have to go through to get it
Venemous Axe of the Velium Brood is 11/24 with a proc, and that is getting to be a relatively common item from velks. The stats are nice and all, but the damage vs delay, i believe is more important. |

Yea there is no partical effect and the epic procs a 150dd with stun. Then of course there are the other stats. All in all the pally epic looks cooler, gives better stats, and has a better proc. |

Actually, I belive the "Dervish" that Totenkopf spoke of IS in Velious - a Snow Dervish, found in Eastern Wastes and surrounds. I've gotten one of these from them myself, so I can verify his story. |

PAL
I'd use this sword over the fiery defender when resists and interupting spells isn't an issue, falling back on the FD. I'd use a shield/1hander combo when I was the main tank.
WAR
It has an AC advantage over the Jagged Blade. This is a good alternative to warrior epics--your guild special |

Why dont we all just send a feedback to Verant, kindly asking them to lower the proc lvl to 15? Considering how a whip of strangulation can give you 12points dd, debuff your oponnets str and agi, and do 60 more points of dot at lvl 10. I can almost guarendamtee you that the only reason the proc is s |

The dam / delay isn't THAT wonderful, but this weapon easily has purposes. Most people look for a ubiquitous weapon that they would always hold. But that is a fairy tale. VI wants you to need lots of different tools.
You put this in the off hand of your main aggro holder to give him HP and AC. |

100% haste on 44 delay is:
100 + 100% = 200
100 / 200 = 0.5
44 * 0.5 = 22
well... theres the math for ya, 44 delay at 100% haste would be 22 delay. Just because it isnt MEASURED in delay decrease, doesn't mean we dont try and figure out the delay a weapon has when hasted. That's what the guy |

Sup bro =) Well Cons right, rangers play an important role. Once a ... "A" (as in one of many) main tank goes down, rangers help alot by using their weaponshield disc (usual scenario) and holding aggro while the Healers can switch targets, reset timings, bake a cake, or do whateve |

Well I would have to say I would still take the epic over this weapon. I think they would do about the same damage overall, since this weapon has a slight bigger dam output, but has a slight less ratio so they should about even out. The bonus's are what do the trick for me. At this point for my pala |

Personally (and I know this is a waste of a good item for others), I'd use this for smithing... Having an item that gives STR and INT is nice for smithing, and it's hard to find them both in one nice little package... I'm currently using STR4 INT2 earrings while smithing, and this would blow those |
