It'd be nice for there to be an archive of all Verant statements to search.

While this is the best EQ Site on the web, I can think of two things I would add:

1) When you do a search for an item, it should show an average price on the list page. This would make a great printable page to use as reference when someone auctions that little known uber item.

2) Having a pic of your character next to your description would be nice also.

One of the most powerful tools of this website (which is what made me sign up for the premium service) is the "your characters" and the upgrade search engine. This is such an awesome tool that I recommend it to everyone I meet that isn’t sure what equipment s/he should have. However, I have been thoroughly stumped as to what would be best for me to have in my primary/secondary melee and range slots. Being a druid/cleric I am not looking for good damage/delay items but wisdom and resists items. Also, is there anyway that we can do searches for the best total amounts of resists, in addition to each separately? Just some thoughts.

Just want to add a few things to my earlier post:

1) A simple spell list with all the spells and effects for each class

2) Short stories of ppl playing EQ, like lets say a guy had a horrific night in Kithicor and wants to tell us what it was like.

3) I agree with a way to announce u wish to buy stuff, although i would like to not have to do this through e-mail (don't check my e-mail a lot)

4) Maybe even a small link to EQ itself if possible.

5) And with the item list the zones u are most likely to be able to buy it in

First of all, sucking up :). I LOVE THIS SITE! It is the only site (except the official) that I ever visit. I only visit the official to look at screen shots from Luclin.... Anyway, this is my little list of things that I would LOVE to have added/fixed/changed on this site (some of it has been previously posted, but hey...)

1) In the classifieds there needs to be a part where you can at least mark taking offers, or best offer, trades excepted. A prefered solution would be a little 3-4 line section where the seller could "personalize" the auction.

2) There should be a Want Adds section. Could be REALLY helpfull to sellers and even more helpfull to buyers.

3) The search option to look for items/weapons with an effect. I read this on a post below and though that it would be EXTREMELY helpfull.

4) An edition to the equipment that has a "prefered" lvl/class (race if needed). So if I were to look up..oooh, lets say the Polished Granite Tomahawk. It would say something like, "Good item for: Lvl 10-20 WAR". Or something like that.

5) On class descriptions there should be a list of special skills and wen they are learnable.

6) On the class description there should also be a prefered trade skill. Like for a RNG it would be fletching, ENC would be jewelry, and WAR would be smithing (or something). Of course there would be the obvious poison making and alchemy, but anyway.

My biggest suggestion is to expand the character and classifieds section. I love the classifieds. There are 2 things I would like to see:

1) Search by people wanting to BUY items, as well as people selling items
2) Include a character description for the person posting the ad. That way, I can add notes saying things like all prices are obo, and I am likely to accept trades, etc.

It would be great if we could add a general character description to our characters, and a picture too.

Also, I agree with the person who said they would like to be able to search for items that are not equipment. When I forage up some barracuda bones and want to find out what they are, I get confused when I can only search by quest or equipment! In fact, I will find them under equipment, but it makes no sense.

I think it would be cool to be able to do a search for GM event items. I have a few, and would like to submit them to the site and add a description for these unique and powerful items and weapons that I've aquired and know that someone out there is going "Holy! Thats some Phat Uber Loot. I want it, where does it drop? To bad it went to a warrior, it should be monk only." etc. Would be kinda nice to add those items to my character on here, too. Thx.

A suggestion for the Beastiary. It would helpful to add a couple more fields in the information. Specifically I'm thinking:
Spawn location
Place holder
Spawn time

This is some of the most important information when you're trying to do a quest or look for a specific piece of loot. Sometimes it's in the comments, but not always. If it was referenced in the spawn information, that would be really helpful.

There's been several times when I read a quest saying talk to NPC A, then I look in the beastiary, find NPC A, but have no idea where in Freeport or Qeynos or Kelethin they are.

On a side note, I second the person earlier saying put up a no-ad subscription service. I've donated, but I would probably be more consistent if I could just get a monthly charge on a credit card. hehe.

I too would like to see more items added, with the aim of every lootable/purchasable/summonable item in the game bost listed and corss referenced to usage/quests and source/location.

This should include all tradeskill recipes where the item is a component.

I'd also like to see the cross linking checked as still too many items say multiple creatures when it's actually a fairly definable number of types, and other items which fall from specifi creatures but are not linked back to the creature from the item.

one thing i would like to see, is a spells list similar to everlore's. where you choose your class, then a list of available spells comes up with a description of the spell and where to get it. and of course the lv you get the spell and anything required to cast the spell or play it. i haven't seen anything on this site like that, maybe it's there but i've never found it and so i freqent everlore often for just that info.

I'd like to subscribe to Allakhazam's and pay a subscription fee.

All I ask in return for my money, NO ADS! Keep the site free, but allow a paying subscriber to avoid the slow page turns and eyestrain caused by animated ads and pop up windows.

I donated once, but I won't do it again so long as I have to download advertisements.

Would it be possible to add a search for items which have effects?
I know the data is there about effects on items, but there doesn't
seem to be a search filter for items which have effects.

this is already the site with the most information, but there is something I cannot find anywhere is an explanation on what to do with items. For example, I find this Diseases Bone Marrow, but I can't figure out what to do with it. Or I made some Shadow Silk and would like to know what it is for. Is it a quest item, spell ingredient or trade skill ingredient? So I would highly appreciate a cross reference from items to quests, spells and trade skill recipes. But I know this is a lot of work.
