A small note for players who participated in the beta release of Depths of Darkhollow, from EQLive: =============================================== If you participated in the Depths of Darkhollow Beta and you received at least 5 beta tokens that you TURNED IN, please ensure that the email address we have on record in your EverQuest account registration is current. On Monday, November 14th, we will be sending an email notification to everyone who is eligible, according to our records, for a beta reward. If you do not receive the email notification because your email address is not current, you WILL NOT receive the beta reward for which you are eligible.

Question :Anyone know how to sign up for Beta testing(new expansions) i was offline for quite a while and soon to return to eq.


Answer: You have to be in the game playing and they would anounce they are looking for Beta testers and give instructions. I seen the text many of times when playing. I have never done it. Not sure if the Test Server is used or if those on the Test server will recive gift.

It uses the beta server. You have to repatch though, each time you go from beta to live.

You can make a copy of your EQ folder and patch the Beta there that way you can still use the other folder to play on the live server without having long downloads repatching

Also What are the rewards are they in game or credits to your account? free expansions?

Well....I participated in the last 2 Betas for EQ and the first one(DoN),they gave AA points. I'm not sure how many I got yet,for none of my toons are 50+ ....yet.
As for Darkhollow,I never heard anything about these Beta Tokens,so I guess I won't get anything for it.

As for how to sign up,you have to watch EQLive(preferably every day) to find out when they'll be having Beta tests. They will include a link to follow,telling you exactly how to register.
Also,sometimes towards the end of the beta test,they may open it up for many more(stress test) by sending an in-game message(in yellow) telling all interested to go to EQLive to join the beta.

u get beta tokens for helping testing. IE i went on a mission w/ a dev to tweak the mission. after the mission was over, we all loged back on our mains( he had us make lvl 20 alts) and he gave us tokens which we gave to the beta teleporter. i guess it saved how many we turned in.
