They finally added a command just to let you see what gear your pet has equipped. It only works on your own pet but it's still very nice. I got on my magician to see if casting up a new pet would have it fully geared minus the weapons like everyone has said. It's true.
With my level 114 magician i was getting the 111 summoned armor/heirloom stuff on my 111 - 114 pet. With my level 116 magician i was getting the 116 summoned armor/heirloom stuff on my 116 pet. I am fairly certain it would work that way with the 117 - 119 pets.
The cloak is different based on the enhanced minion that you have. At EM25 those pets were getting a Cloak of Enhancement XXV. Used the 114 magician to summon the 114 earth pet without any EM and the newly summoned pet had a Cloak of Enhancement XIX. Tried the same thing with the 116 magician and summoned up the 116 air pet without any EM and the newly summoned pet had a Cloak of Enhancement XX on it. Having earrings with EM 18 equipped on either character made no difference when it came to summoning those pets.
I guess it's different for the non EM classes. I got on my level 110 shaman and used the level 107 spell Mirtuk's Faithful. It gave me a level 103 pet with Cloak of Enhancement XVIII.
