A public beta next week for the new PvP game modes and a massive game sale this weekend.

The Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns beta continues with a test of the new PvP game mode Stronghold. This test will be a 24 hour long beta starting at Noon Pacific on April 14th. Not only will this beta last for an entire 24 hour long period, it will be open to anyone with a Guild Wars 2 account and will be played on the live client replacing Unranked Arenas for the day.

Don't have a GW2 account? This weekend ArenaNet is putting the game on a massive 75% off sale, making the game only $9.99 for the basic digital edition. The sale starts Friday, April 10th at 10am Pacific and runs through 11:59pm PT on Sunday, April 13th at buy.guildwars2.com.

If you want to learn more about Stronghold and some of the strategies players might use, ArenaNet is hosting a special episode of their Ready Up livestream show to go over all the ins and outs of the new game mode. Ready Up will be on the official Guild Wars 2 Twitch Channel tomorrow, April 10th at Noon Pacific. Then throughout most of the 24 beta test period next week, different Twitch streamers will be hosting on the GW2 Twitch channel to show off the beta gameplay.
