SOE Live Attendees to Receive Loot Cards

Registered players who can't attend will be emailed codes after the event.

In previous years, registered participants of SOE's annual convention would typically receive their in-game swag items in the weeks following the event. SOE is going a different route this year with the introduction of the SOE Live Loot Card.

Registered attendees will receive these cards on-site in their swag bags and can redeem them on any account that they choose. Additional cards will also be available on-site for $35 each. Anyone who registered but does not attend will receive their Loot Card key via email on or around August 22, 2014.

These cards are single use and will grant the account items for all of SOE's games, plus a mysterious mention for EverQuest Next. Only one card may be applied per account. Check out the full list of goodies after the jump.

EverQuest II

  • 2014 Claws of Veeshan Pack - A 66 slot back pack adorned with the symbol of Veeshan, The Eternal Wurm Mother
  • Each character can claim once

EverQuest

  • Guise of the Ancient Gods - This will be an illusion item that gives players the appearance of the ‘Ancient’ version of the original EverQuest gods.
  • A SINGLE character can claim on the account

DC Universe Online

  • 2 Vegas Style items:
    • SOE Live 2014 'Vegas Style' Sign: Bring the lights of Las Vegas to your Personal Lair.

  • Each character can claim once

PlanetSide 2

  • SOE Live Bundle:
    • Nanite Systems' AutoBlade: A full-featured utility knife. It’s oscillating motor slices through tough materials with ease, while the integrated Lumifiber strips provide enough light for cutting wires in the dark.
    • 2 sets of Camouflage: Wildcard and No Limit
    • 2 Vehicle Decals: Cash Out and Max Bet
  • Every character will have items available, after one character claims

Landmark

  • SOE Live 2014 Commemorative Flag – An exclusive flag item that you can place on your claim to proudly show the world that you attended SOE Live in August 2014!
  • Landmark In-Game Painting (Prop) – A special Landmark painting prop you can use to decorate your claim.
  • Each account only has one character. That character will receive both items. (If the character is deleted, a new character will not receive items).

Dragon’s Prophet

  • Lady Vox Egg – Ancient Dragon
  • Player Title: Permafrost’s Protector
  • This is awarded on each character. (Claim is received through the mail on first character; afterward, the egg appears in the marketplace bag for every character.)

H1Z1

  • Beanie: It's hard to stay fashionable in an apocalypse! This beanie not only says chic but may impress someone enough to not headshot you.
  • Item may or may not be claimable when Early Access starts. To be announced.

EQ Next

  • Next players will receive something for attending SOE Live 2014. To be announced.

Suggest you go read the Everquest Boards, The clicky for EQ is NOT what people thought it was going to be.

In other words, Bait and Switch (

Sad, because I was really looking forward to a weekend in Vegas...

While I wouldn't buy one, in the past lost of folks registered for Fan Faire just for the in-game goodies. So good move, SOE.

I just would have announced it much, much sooner.

Yup! The on-site cost of $35 is much cheaper than the day pass cost anyway ($69), so if you're not attending (find a trusted friend that's going to PayPal!) or want an extra for a second account it's a good idea. For just one game I can agree that the value isn't really there, but if you play several SOE games then it may be worth it to you, since you get the in-game items for all of their games.

I'm also VERY curious as to what the EQNext part entails. I want to be hopeful that it means there's an alpha this year, but it's hard to think there really will be with Landmark still slogging along in closed beta.
