ArcheAge Boasts 1 Million Players in Beta
Support for ArcheAge reaches a major milestone, and Trion begins the Beta.
"...over one million of you have already joined our community of
ArcheAge supporters, even before the first Beta event began!"
It's no surprise: people are very interested in what ArcheAge has to offer. With an open world, intriguing economy, and mix-and-match skillsets, we're interested too! That interest has hit a crescendo, topping 1 million players signed-up for ArcheAge. Now, that number isn't active players, but it's a promising figure either way.
In good timing, Trion Worlds began its first Closed Beta event yesterday, "A Brighter Age", which they discussed in a producer letter from the dev team:
"Our first Closed Beta Event, "A Brighter Age," starts today, and continues on through Monday, July 21st. This is just the first of our Closed Beta Events! We'll have events during the week as well as overlapping weekends. We'll have specifics closer to each event, as the results of a given event will affect the schedule.
"Please do keep in mind – There's real testing going on during these Closed Beta Events! This isn't "just a marketing beta." We're evaluating gameplay as well as infrastructure during these events, and we'll be following up with an online survey at the conclusion of beta to collect even more of your thoughts."
Looks like it's time for us and 999,999+ others to explore the world of ArcheAge.
