The Strain Ultra Drop hit servers this morning and players are jumping in on the action.

The day of The Strain is finally upon us as the first WildStar content update, The Strain Ultra Drop, hit live servers this morning. Players can now jump in and experience all that the Strain Ultra Drop patch has to offer as they dive deeper into the ever-evolving story surrounding Planet Nexus.

With this update, players will be able to experience the brand new zones of Blighthaven and Northern Wastes, both of which offer new quests, equipment, customization items, housing items, events and dangerous challenges. While this update is mainly centered around adding additional PvE content to the game, it is promised that the next update will have an additional Battleground for all of the PvP folks out there, so keep your skills sharp!
