ArenaNet gave out some details on Guild Wars 2's big feature patch, set for April 15.

ArenaNet just announced that the release date of their big feature patch, slated for Tuesday, April 15. The April 2014 Feature Pack, as ArenaNet is calling it, is the first-ever Guild Wars 2 release that is focused entirely on bringing updates to in-game features.

Over the next few weeks, ArenaNet will slowly rollout information about the features coming in the patch. The headquarters for all the reveals is the April 2014 Feature Pack website that will update as more information for each feature is released.

Luckily, players won't have to wait for the first reveal of a feature that is coming in the patch. Alongside this announcement, ArenaNet has posted a new blog detailing the overhauled trait system that includes 40 brand new traits, a simplified UI and a horizontal progression opportunity for players through trait unlocks.
