This Week on PlayStation
Two big titles come out this week alongside two free games for PlayStation Plus.
This week, players will be able to pick up inFAMOUS Second Son and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on PlayStation consoles. For those with a PlayStation Plus subscription, Thomas Was Alone & Unit 13 will be added to PlayStation's Instant Game Collection starting tomorrow.
In inFAMOUS Second Son, players will guide Delsin Rowe through the rainy streets of Seattle, using his extraordinary powers to fight the Department of Unified Protection. Traverse the cityscape at dazzling speeds using Delsin's sizzling smoke and crackling neon abilities. inFAMOUS Second Son will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 4 console this Friday, March 21 for $59.99.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes comes out tomorrow as a prologue to the upcoming MGS game Phantom Pain. This prologue (reported by GameInformer to only last a couple hours) will show off a redesigned interface and the new open-world design. Ground Zeroes comes out tomorrow on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. All versions of the came include the main storyline and four side missions, but there will also be a console exclusive 5th mission depending on which console you buy the game on. PlayStation releases will get a side mission featuring a recreation of Solid Snake from the original Metal Gear Solid while Xbox releases will feature Raiden as he appeared in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. You can pick up Ground Zeroes tomorrow, March 18 for $19.99.
As for tomorrow's PS+ free releases, Thomas Was Alone is a puzzle platformer where a group of AI shapes try to find their way through various environments. In contrast, Unit 13 is a third person shooter where your skills and the soldiers you picked for each mission will help with the task at hand, including staying in stealth or clearing an area ASAP. Thomas Was Alone will be free for both PS3 and Vita while Unit 13 is exclusively for the Vita.
