New developer play session shows off some of TESO's group content

April 4th of this year is approaching fast and fans of Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind eagerly await the release date of The Elder Scrolls Online. All of the previous games were single-player only (barring a few mods to patch it in), so this will be the first time players will be able to explore the world of Tamriel alongside their friends and guildmates. That does leave a good question though: what exactly will you be able to do with your friends that stands out from your solo escapades in the previous games? In today's Dev Play Session video, TESO's developers walk us through a few of their world encounters built for multiple players.

So what did you think of their examples of world group content? How did they compare to what you're used to in other modern MMOs? Personally, I still need more time with the game before I really feel comfortable talking about their combat or content, but the encounters they showed off here are certainly promising!
