The next release for GW2 will feature the Tequatl boss revamp, but that's not all.

Next week's update for Guild Wars 2, Tequatl Rising, will feature a major revamp to the Tequatl, the Sunless boss fight. Tequatl has been gathering power in the depths and now promises to be one of the most difficult encounters in the game. Players will need to work together to tackle the all new mechanics in this epic challenge.

Tequatl is not the only part of the game that will be receiving some love this patch.

• World Boss Update -- All world bosses from the Megadestroyer to the Golem Mark II and the Fire Elemental have been made to be more challenging and fun.
• Looking for Group -- The new looking for group tool will allow players to find others looking to do group content within the game.
• WvW Borderlands Update -- The borderlands are receiving a major update as the central lake is replaced with five Ruins of Power. These will be the replacement to the old Orbs of Power. Control enough points and your world will earn the impressive Bloodlust boost across all the WvW maps.
• Flame Ram Mastery -- This new WvW ability line will give boosts to the usage of Flame Rams. Players who invest in this line will get the Iron Hide buff (-50% damage taken) when first interacting with the ram, a boost to the number 2 skill (Flame Blast) to apply Structural Vulnerability to gates (+1% damage taken per stack), reducing the recharge on flame ram skills, a new skill called Slam Impact that will knock back enemies on the other side of the gate and a new skill called Iron Will that will buff nearby allies with Iron Will.

Along with this new content, players will be able to earn the new Wings of the Sunless animated back item.
