With Smite's latest game update, comes some pretty significat visual upgrades. Get a glimpse of some of these God-like changes!

Smite has undergone a few major visual changes with its latest  game update, to better fit the more recent visual and art direction developments of the game. Additionally, new character skins, voice over dialogue and item changes have made their way with this patch as well. To show off some of the most recent changes, Hi-Rez has gifted us with this video highlighting exactly what players can expect to see change, take a look!

As seen in the video, the "Conquest" map has undergone some pretty significant visual upgrades. While the map layout remains the same, the team colors are among the things that have changed. Players will now either spawn on the "Destroyed" side of the map, as the orange team, or the "Pristine" side of the map as the blue team. Also highlighted in the video, Anubis has a received new skin and voice pack, along with a new skin for Ra and a new voice pack for Loki.

Another major change with this update is to the in-game item shop that will effect how you build your Gods. Players are now restricted with what items they can purchase from the item shop, depending on what archetype your God is categorized under. For example magic type Gods will no longer be able to purchase attack damage items and will be restricted to magic-oriented items.

Lastly, all of the shout-casters out there in the Smite community will be happy to know that Spectator mode is seeing some increased functionality this patch as well. Increased player statistics and team statistics such as gold and xp per minute, along with other statistical information, will all be made easily visible with these changes.
