Announcement includes 128 players in open bracket $25,000 HotS tournament

Major League Gaming announced that Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm will be featuring in some particularly fierce competition at the Spring Championship in Anaheim, CA (June 28-30).

128 players will compete in an open bracket tournament under the World Championship Series (WCS) Tier 1 banner, fighting it out for $25,000 in prizes and all-important WCS ranking points. For those trying to nail down their spots at the StarCraft II World Championship at Blizzcon, this competition could be make or break.

Competitor, Spectator and VIP passes for the Spring Championship are on sale at this link today, Friday May 31, from 2pm Pacific.
