World of Tanks: Update 8.6 Outlined
The next iteration of Wargaming's F2P juggernaut will add boost to economy and SPGs
Prepare to expand your battle plans as Update 8.6 will soon be hitting World of Tanks.
The next iteration on the phenomenally successful free-to-play game will bring economy changes, a new British medium tank -- the A33 Excelsior -- and other additions that will add breadth and depth to the already accomplished action/strategy combat experience.
The American tech tree will get some new armor to bolster its stable with the M44 and M33/55 artillery units -- pictured above. German tech tree aficionados can look forward to three new entrants, including the G.W. Tiger (P), while the French divisions will receive reinforcements in the form of the AMX Obusier automoteur de 105 and Bat.Chatillon155 (55) artilleries.
The anticipated effect on the game was summed up in a recent press release:
“Update 8.6 is a major step in game balance enhancement and is really going to make SPGs players happy," said Mike Zhivets, producer on World of Tanks. "Artillery gameplay is going to feel a lot more balanced with a normal ten tier structure, making advancing through that class of armor more comfortable for players."
