Services will be impacted for approxomately 4 hours.

Sony Online Entertainment will perform maintenance beginning at 8:00 AM Pacific on April 9, 2013. This maintenance is expected to take approximately four hours. This will impact the following services:

  • Account management will be unavailable starting at 4:00 AM to approximately 8:00 AM PDT.
  • Commerce transactions, including purchases on SOE websites and in-game marketplaces will be unavailable between 4:00 AM to approximately 8:00 AM PDT.
  • Logins for all SOE forums may be affected, you may lose permissions and experience occasional disconnects between 4:00 AM to approximately 8:00 AM PDT..
  • Players who are already logged in may be disconnected and unable to log back in starting at 4:00 AM to approximately 8:00 AM PDT.
  • Logins for all SOE games may be affected during the maintenance.

it is still another half hour from estimated time but i am ingame. so the maintenance either didn't affect the game or is finished.

mystery solved. on soe's launchpad they refer to the update as being Tuesday. glad i found out - would have been very disappointed if i came in tomorrow expecting to play. seems all of soe will be down tomorrow- including eq1. guess time to bring gw out again. or lotro

Considering that this is MONDAY, APRIL 8, what year is the update going to be??? if it is April 9, then it has to be tomorrow- TUESDAY. if it is the day after that- it will be WEDNESDAY April 10. so i am confused- when it is going to be? do i plan to be offline tomorrow or Wednesday???

the last time it was Wednesday April 9 was in 2008 and the next time will be 2014.

Yeah, but the announcement says "Wednesday, April 9, 2013", today is April 9th, and it is Tuesday.
