Aion reveals new Bard class preview video

It feels like Aion 3.5 just hit live servers last month, doesn't it? Oh wait, that's because it did. But that's not stopping NCSoft from talking about their plans for the upcoming 4.0 update. Yesterday, they dropped a preview video of the all-new Bard class!

Traditionally, a Bard in a role-playing game is a support class that makes use of music and/or poetry to do their dirty work in combat. It seems no different in Aion, with the video showcasing several interesting maneuvers. The ability to summon a treble clef of doom from the sky? Yes please.

The cloth-wearing class is described as a sort of middle-ground somewhere between the Cleric and the Spiritmaster, which will bring a welcome harmony to any group. Get it? Harmony? Sorry.

Continuing the shtick, just how many musical puns can you fit in a video description anyway? More than I thought. Kudos to whomever wrote this:

"Be sure to take note of what you see! I am sure you will be resonating with excitement! We are not trying to string you along but your enemies will surely fret when they measure themselves against you, while your allies sing your praises!"
