League Of Legends World Championship Group A
A round up of the days action from Group A of the League Of Legends World Championship
Game Six - SK Gaming versus Invictus Gaming
SK Gaming grab the first blood from an Illusion gank that goes in their favour, Illusion goes for the flash taunt but misses his target of Corki and tries to burn down Nyph with his teammates, but some heavy damage from Yellowstar in the back and the ignite to finish the kill takes down Shen.
Illusion returns straight from spawn to repeat the favour but this time picks up the kill on Nunu and then hangs around in the red tri-bush to tower dive Corki for a kill picked up by Ezreal.
The early game then goes into IG’s favour with them closing down the SK ganks with ease and then abusing the Stand United to get in lane instant ganks.
With the transition into the mid game SK move in groups of three taking out objectives and creating ganks, but every time they achieve something, IG respond with their own reply.
IG take a baron a little over 20 minutes and they abuse their advantage to another level.
With the gold, XP and now baron advantage, IG pushes down the outlining turrets and force a siege on an inhibitor turret.
IG the force the siege in multiple places when the Shen split push and are able to hold back a five man SK with four while bringing the health of turrets down.
28 minutes marks the time that IG take down the southern inhibitor turret and the force an engagement where Kid picks up a triple kill in a four for one trade.
IG now have control of the nexus turrets, dropping one, forcing SK Gaming throw in the towel after 30 minutes.
