League Of Legends World Championship Group A
A round up of the days action from Group A of the League Of Legends World Championship
Game Two - CLG Prime versus Invictus Gaming
The early game was very in favour of Invictus Gaming, just due to their great map awareness and timing on buffs, they kept CLG from taking their buffs with some great timing attacks.
Neither team was highly aggressive in the sense that many kills were had, until 15 minutes it was 1-1.
Each time CLG attempted some counter aggression with multiple champions it was slightly mis timed and IG was able to regroup and defend.
IG then show why they are some of the best objective takers in the world, they always make the right moes that catch CLG out of position taking down towers in the mid game.
The first baron of the game is where the game turned massively to IG’s favour.
With a great catch on HotShotGG, IG find themselves in a 4v5 and take down the baron with no chance of a steal.
On the back of the abron they are able to quickly pick up another three kills making that fight a one kill versus four with baron.
With the domination of the last fight, CLG are forced to aggressively take the Dragon to give them something to hold onto.
They manage to get Dragon and get out with a mix of great slows from Lulu and Mundo but are unable to make it all the way home without losing Chauster on the way.
The initiation under the turret from Skarner comes down and CLG drop Voyboy and HotShotGG within seconds.
With their base under siege CLG drop the surrender.
