We talk with Product Manager Clifton Chu about Forsaken World's upcoming content update, which launches May 26.

ZAM: Conflict among the races has always been a key point of the game; when I tried a Kindred Vampire, many of the other races shunned me. In response, you've created three new training areas. What was the purpose of these, and how do they differ from the options we currently have (namely, Freedom Harbor)? Will the old routes for leveling still be available?

Chu: The new Training Grounds are one of the staging points for the battle against Larex’s corruption. The method of leveling still remains the same, just in a new location. This is to help smooth out the gameplay experience in Freedom Harbor. Additionally, there will be a section of this area dedicated to fighting rare monsters for additional experience boosting items.

ZAM: The new update also includes a wedding system. How do players go about getting married? What happens if they decide it won't work out later down the line?

Chu: Forsaken World has a very intricate, robust marriage system. When players are ready to “tie the knot,” there will be an elaborate in-game wedding ceremony. If things don’t work out later down the line, players can annul their marriage vows.

ZAM: Besides these big items, are there any other new features coming in this update? And what's further down the line for Forsaken World?

Chu: Along with the new PvP arenas, we’re introducing epic weapons and armor as well as exclusive mounts and fashion items as spoils for the victors. Players can also look forward a new advanced Nightmare Carnival event for higher level characters.

As with all of our games, we love listening to our players for feedback and suggestions, which in turn, helps us with what content and features we should add further down the line in future updates and expansions.
