UPDATE: Trion has started a thread to keep track of new servers as they come online.

Rift's Head Start event is under way for players who pre-ordered the game, and there are queues. We weren't kidding when we said Telara would be crowded.

Senior Community Manager Cindy "Abigale" Bowens announced on the official forums that Trion Worlds is in the process of opening more servers to help alleviate the wait times. In fact, Trion has already opened 10 new servers since the Head Start kicked off around 90 minutes ago.
