i got into the beta's too and i got a head start so i can play before its on the shelves.
got colectors eddition so i got a fat, 2-headed, orangy, ancient, turtle mount and i got a hellhound pup companion (looks awesome) and some bogling thingy companion as well. really looking forward to headstart and to more Rift bff reports.

Fony huge fan of GBTV, Zam, Rift and mmo's in general.
The dungeons were great. I ran IT as a cleric, mostly Warden, through the levels 17-29. lol kept going back to it i found it visually pleasing and just fun. I also started running DSM at...lvl 24? something like that. That dungeon was a bit harder there was some mobs that hit HARD, as well the last boss all the AE damage was taxing on my mana pool, after the cascade nerf. I fully plan to preorder I want the box though. Hard the find a preorder in Ontario. Out of 5 retailers only one was doing a preorder. One thing I think that sets Trion apart, isn't in the game itself, it's their dedication to their player base and outstanding customer service.

I love how the ads play flawlessly, but I'm stuck waiting for BFF to buffer for 10 min...

Ive played every mmo out since EQ; Beta and on. This has been overall (hugely) the best start Ive ever seen.
They are on top of things, they listen, and do so very quickly.
Sure every game will always have problems; and fan bois n QQ'rs arguing back and forth. But Tbh the last 4-5 years of releases has been one fail after another. (high hopes followed by crashing dreams)
But this game well; just is. Good start and very solid.

No ones guna take bliz out other then bliz themselves and time.
People will get bored of even this because it is just another Mmo grind. (then maybe they should stop playing mmos...lol).

Anyone coming from ANY MMORPG (not just WoW) will find this familiar in one way or another. (As they intended). Its a really good game. Ive never seen so many people come from such a large line of other games and comment on how much its adapts (or as haters say copies)and there for in a good way feels familiar to them. People act likes its such a bad thing; in the case of Rift I think it awesome. There not trying to up-the-anti with huge promises and then fail. There trying to pull in players from all games because they know everyone tired and looking for the next thing. If anything this is a great hold over. Their ability to be involved with the player base has me won over alone. And is why I pro-ordered.

They promised to be interactive and IN game with the player base. On a personable lvl; and if this carries over as well as it has in beta to live; Ive not seen anything come close since the Eq days.

My boyfriend and I have been in since Beta5 and we pre-ordered within hours. Turtles ftw. Iron tombs is retarded easy, provided you don't pull multiple packs. Also, the kings triad can be crowd controlled (transmogrified/chain feared), and it seems like CC doesn't have diminishing returns in dungeons. Still haven't tried the guardian starter dungeon.

So excited for this game! Can't wait for open beta and headstart (CE pre-order ftw). I've only played through Iron Tombs so far. Loved that one and excited to play through more. Good report BTW.
