Blizzard just made a bunch of posts that aren't directly tied to in-game events or changes in World of Warcraft, but may still be of interest to players. Here's the rundown:

• Blizzard has announced the winners of the Holiday Card Contest and the Holiday Dessert Contest. All of the creative entries are definitely worth a look.
• Speaking of contests, Blizzard is giving away 20 copies of "The Shattering" signed by author Christie Golden. All you need to do is read two excerpts from the book and take a quiz about what transpired for a chance to win. The contest ends Jan. 25 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
• Lastly, a new line of Cataclysm peripherals is now available from SteelSeries. The items include a mouse, keyboard and mousepads.
