Kingsmouth residents begin tweeting again, and they make a lot of references about bees.

It's been quite awhile since we've heard anything from the alternate reality game for The Secret World. The tweets of Kingsmouth residents Carter, Danny Dufresne, Deputy Andy Gardener and Sheriff Helen Bannerman grinded to a halt back in February, but the accounts suddenly came back to life this week.

Actually, let's back up a bit. On Nov. 11, the Twitter account @melissonomoi, which is tied to the Sanctuary of Secrets, tweeted, "how many ones do we seek? at the end, it's all about new beginnings." The account then tweeted this message on Nov. 14: "what does the static represent? Nothing. and perhaps Everything, but only on the eleventh hour. on the appointed day."

Fast forward to Nov. 23, when @thedarkplaces tweeted this message: "They are coming back." The account's picture was also changed to an image of three bees.

That brings us back to the Twitter accounts of the Kingsmouth residents, which have been active once again (except Bannerman) over the past couple days. Forum user Grue posted a transcript of the tweets, which you can read below.

zombiedanny - Rebooting.. I hate it when that happens! The buzzing was killing me. Is like honey colored screen totally normal?? Thought it'd be blue....

dontgetcarter - @zombiedanny Careful D, you never know whose gonna be listening. Where you been? Burning the midnite oil again? Busy busy bee ;-P

deputygardner - Getting really chilly now. Damn, can't believe it was winter last time I wrote anything here. Time really flies when your Busy, I guess!

There are certainly a lot of references to bees. What does it all mean? Who knows, but the forum members are searching the Kingsmouth site for clues. For example, here's number 23 on the activities list: "Search for the tree house near Chegual Creek (shh, you’re not supposed to know about it)." Is that the treehouse Danny mentions in his tweet?
