Blizzard to Sell WoW Plush Toys with In-Game Pets
Blizzard just announced on the World of Warcraft site that it will soon make Wind Rider Cub and Gryphon Hatchling plush critters available for purchase in the Blizzard Store. While stuffed toys are nothing new for Blizzard, these two contain and extra surprise: "Each plush companion will come with a code for a matching in-game, non-combat, account-bound pet to fly by your side in Azeroth."
The pets may be wearing Horde and Alliance symbols, but both sides will be able to adopt either one. These two companions are apparently the first in a new line of plush toys that will be sold exclusively in the Blizzard Store.
These critters follow in the footsteps of the Lil' K.T. and the Pandaren Monk virtual pets that Blizzard added to the store in November 2009. Will you be purchasing either of these plush toys?
