The Atlantica Online developers are back with a new dev journal focused on the C-class Beast Trainer.

The Atlantica Online developers continue their weekly dev journals with the ZAM readers, and they're presenting all of the information players need to recruit the Beast Trainer. Their developer journal talks about the steps required to obtain the axe-wielding mercenary and explains how the Beast Trainer calls upon a variety of powerful beasts to attack all enemies.

In our previous articles we have talked about the utilities of our D-Grade mercenaries.  Now, we want to take this opportunity to talk about our C-Grade mercenaries.  These new set of mercenaries can be recruited by completing a quest chain in order to obtain these new set of mercenaries. We will be starting with our first C-Grade mercenary, the Beast Trainer.

Players who reach level 44 can begin the recruitment process for this mercenary from Beast Trainer Nari near New Delhi.  Players will embark on a difficult journey, and some will find the need to level up beyond the required level in order to finally obtain this axe-wielding mercenary.

*Players are now able to obtain a second Beast Trainer mercenary in their party by using the Secrets of Time: Beast Trainer, and then talking to Hui Chao to reset the quest chain to give players the opportunity to recruit a second Beast Trainer.*

The Beast Trainer boasts the highest degree of Action Power and Vitality, and also has high Attack Power, which makes it a great mercenary to place on the front lines of a formation.  The Beast Trainer is similar to the Viking in that they both wield axes, and that they both will not only strike their targets, but also their adjoining neighbors as well.  Similarly, they are both weak in their resistance to magic, and are not ones who would be considered powerful magic users. One of the differences that players will experience right away is the Beast Trainer's skill, Beast Summon.  This unique spell calls upon the powers of a variety of powerful beasts that come to the aid of the Beast Trainer and attack all enemies.

Currently, Beast Trainers are versatile in a PvP team to act as a strong tank.  Although AoE (Area of Effect) teams are not used as much, Beast Trainers have been known to be very useful in AoE build teams.
