The in-game items for Fan Faire have been announced!  We are pleased to report that this year all registrants will receive the items, whether you pre-register or do walk-in.  You don't even have to attend, just register!

Even better, registrants no longer have to choose one game for their goodie.  Registrants will receive the in-game items in all participating games for which they have an account at the time of registration.

Games with in-game Fan Faire items include EverQuest, EverQuest II, Star Wars Galaxies, The Matrix Online, Vanguard, Legends of Norrath, PoxNora, and the SWG and Free Realms TCG's.

Just typical Sony to make it like this..

It seems, more and more over the past year, that they are more worried about making money than they are thinking about keeping the player base happy..
I know its their living and all, but it should be fun and not full of bugs when you log in to a game you pay for every month..

Looks like eq players are getting the short end of the stick so to say.Non wearing shield classes like monks,zerkers & beastlords useless on the in game item.I think Vanguard players made out the best with the flying mount thing.Just my 2c worth

Yea, I followed the link and they have it all set up on the website to register. That's how I knew it was $39 for daily pass (either Friday or Saturday)... it's $89 for all access pass.

Even if I knew someone going, it's seems too much $$ just to get a virtual t-shirt.

So wait ... I can get the in-game item ... which for FR is a FAN FAIRE T-SHIRT ... even if I don't attend, as long as I register ... and pay at least $39.

Ummm ... WHY? Is there anyone who would register for this, with no plans of attending, just to get an in-game t-shirt?

I don't get it myself, but I do know people who register, then have someone pick up their swag bag for them.

Can you pre-register for the daily pass? I thought that was walk-in only.
