The models themselves are really not all that bad, overall, if you look at them without thinking of the class at the same time (and maybe think of hiding some of the helms).
However, when you actually factor in the classes they are intended for, I really start to wonder about Blizz sometimes.
Take the priests for instance. I don't know of any priest that wants to look like a rogue, in fact, for some pvp priests out there, I would be willing to bet that some of you want to get the T8 set, then go jump off a tall cliff, just so you can say you killed a rogue :-). Not to mention that the armor itself kinda looks like a clown face (seriously the chest item looks like the face, with the shoulders as the hair...the red set on a female especially reminds me of Bozo the Clown or the Insane Clown Posse, I can't really decide).
The mage set is equally disappointing, and from the view that is given, kinda reminds me of a metallic version of a chicken costume.
The hunter gear would quite possibly look ridiculous on a Tauren, giving them extra horns (though they may be hidden by the helm).
The rogue set reminds me of "The Nightmare Before Christmas".
And the Warlock set (though really not that bad) reminds me of the bird people from Burning Crusade more than anything.
As far as the weapons are concerned, I actually like the melee weapons, because they don't look like they are out of a Japanese cartoon (seriously, some of the melee weapons from BC we ridiculously unrealistic), but the ranged weapons are a little lackluster (looking more like blobs of glowing metal than a gun or crossbow).
Just my thoughts~

What Do You Think of Tier 8 and Ulduar Weapons?
Happy New Year's Eve! World of Warcraft fans have a lot to look forward to in 2009, including patch 3.1. In addition to dual spec (hopefully), the update will bring with it Tier 8 sets and Ulduar weapons.
Boubouille of MMO-Champion has provided preview screenshots of most of these items in one handy post. Druids, Paladins, Shamans, Warriors and male Rogues are going to need to wait to see their Tier 8 sets, but the rest of the classes are up there.
As Boubouille warns, any of these items could change since they're still in the beta phase. Regardless, what does everyone think about the armor and weapons? Remember, there's no concrete date set for the release of patch 3.1.
