New quests have been added.

Introduction of "Fields of Valor."
"Fields of Valor" is a new system in which players can take on voluntary training regimes to slay a number of specified enemies in an assigned period of time. One training regime may be undertaken per Vana'dielian day. If successful, players will receive experience points, gil, and Fields of Valor points redeemable for other benefits.
*Monsters must yield experience in order to constitute confirmed kills.

Players can undertake training regimes by examining the "Field Manual" in any of the areas listed below, then selecting "Individual Training" and choosing their desired objective from the subsequent menu.

West Ronfaure / Valkurm Dunes / Jugner Forest / North Gustaberg / Pashhow Marshlands /
Beaucedine Glacier / Xarcabard / West Sarutabaruta / Buburimu Peninsula / Meriphataud Mountains / Qufim Island

On rare occasions, defeating enemies in the following areas will yield a Treasure Casket:
West Ronfaure / East Ronfaure / La Theine Plateau / Valkurm Dunes / Jugner Forest / Batallia Downs / North Gustaberg / South Gustaberg / Konschtat Highlands / Pashhow Marshlands / Rolanberry Fields / Xarcabard / Beaucedine Glacier / West Sarutabaruta / East Sarutabaruta / Tahrongi Canyon / Buburimu Peninsula / Meriphataud Mountains / Sauromugue Champaign / Qufim Island / Behemoth's Dominion

There are two varieties of Treasure Caskets, locked and unlocked. Unlocked caskets will contain temporary items that can only be used in the area in which they were acquired, while locked caskets will contain non-temporary items and equipment.

Players can now warp to Aht Urhgan Whitegate from Jeuno by talking to the Salaheem's Sentinels representative deployed there.
*In order to use this service, you must be a mercenary of Salaheem's Sentinels and have completed the quest offered by the NPC in question.

The locations of outpost warp NPCs in San d'Oria, Windurst, and Bastok have been changed as follows:
Northern San d'Oria (D-9) -> Northern San d'Oria (K-9)
Bastok Metalworks (F-8) -> Bastok Mines (K-8)
Port Windurst (D-5) -> Port Windurst (L-4)

The respawn time for Treasure Coffers and Treasure Chests has been shortened, and the chances of obtaining artifacts, maps, and key items from them have been increased. Furthermore, after obtaining items or gil from a coffer or chest, players will temporarily become unable to receive items or gil from other coffers or chests.

Passageways in the following areas will now open and close automatically for players mounted on chocobos:
Jugner Forest [S] / Batallia Downs [S] / Rolanberry Fields [S] / Fort Karugo-Narugo [S] / Sauromugue Champaign [S]

In Fort Karugo-Narugo, the target names of the affected doors have been changed as follows:
Granite Gate -> Cavalry Gate
Painted Wooden Door -> Cavalry Door

In Jugner Forest, passing through portals of the following variety now requires a key item:
Wooden Gate

Furthermore, with the above changes, certain doors that prior to this version update had been constantly open will now remain closed until activated.

Battle-related

The following additions and alterations have been made to Campaign:

   * New Campaign Ops have been added.
   * NPCs have been added which will distribute temporary items to players when participating in a Campaign battle in an area under the control of the Beastman Confederate.
The characteristics of these distribution NPCs are as follows:
     - Upon the depletion of their stock, NPCs will temporarily return to headquarters in order to replenish their stores.
     - NPCs will take defensive action against aggressors, but during that time will be unable to dispense items. Should they become incapacitated in the course of battle, a replacement will be dispatched after a certain amount of time has elapsed.
     - Item availability and quantity is directly influenced by each nation's skill and production levels.

   * In Campaign battles, the strategic resource capacity of a stronghold will now decrease depending on the presence of destructive entities such as besieging enemy Siege Turrets.
   * At the time of a Campaign tally, should influence over an area change hands from the Beastman Confederate to the Allied Forces of Altana, or vice versa, the stronghold fortifications and resources will now be replenished to half. However, no such replenishment will take place in the case of headquarters trading hands.

The time delay before starting up Besieged after completion of server maintenance has been increased.

Members of a Level Sync party will no longer lose beneficial status effects such as Protect should the synchronization designee level up. Accumulated TP, and the effect of the Charm ability on monsters, will also no longer be lost.

The following equipment attributes have been added to the list of those which will remain in effect, and be adjusted accordingly, during Level Sync:
Evasion / Enmity / Healing HP / Healing MP

While under the effect of Level Sync or any other form of level restriction, attack delays for crossbows can no longer be faster than 216.

The Reraise effect granted by certain spells and items will no longer be removed by magic and abilities such as Dispel and Voidsong.

While the query selection boxes associated with the white magic spell Raise and the black magic spell Tractor are being displayed, the same spells will no longer be able to be cast on that player.

When the experience points gained by a dragoon result in their wyvern receiving a status boost, the wyvern's HP will now be fully restored.

The following Group 2 merit point abilities have been added for the dancer and scholar jobs.
Dancer  Scholar
Saber Dance     Altruism
Fan Dance       Focalization
No Foot Rise    Tranquility
Closed Position         Equanimity
       Enlightenment
       Stormsurge

The enchantments on the following items can now be recharged in Al Zahbi, Aht Urhgan Whitegate, Nashmau, Southern San d'Oria [S], Bastok Markets [S], and Windurst Waters [S]:
Chariot Band / Empress Band / Emperor Band

The fee for recharging these items will be consistent regardless of whether payment is required in Conquest points, Allied Notes, or Imperial Standing points.

The artifact and relic armor sets for the dancer and scholar jobs can now be enhanced by the NPC Sagheera, found in Port Jeuno.

Dancer and scholar-specific items have been added to the treasures obtainable in the Dynamis and Limbus areas.

The fees incurred for storing all item sets and furnishings have been halved.

The following items and furnishings will now be storable by speaking to specific NPCs:
Aldebaran Horn / Tidal Talisman / Eerie Cloak / Eerie Cloak +1 / Town Moogle Shield / Nomad Moogle Shield

The equipment storage NPC will now accept the following equipment sets:

Black Ink / Bugard Skin / H. Q. Bugard Skin / Orc Piercer / Yagudo Freezer / Shellbuster / Leech Saliva / Bird Blood / Beast Blood

The following item has been relocated to the "Materials: Alchemy" category of the Auction House:
Dyer's Woad

System-related

The following entries have been added to the auto-translate dictionary:
Category        Term
Job Ability     Saber Dance
Job Ability     Fan Dance
Job Ability     No Foot Rise
Job Ability     Closed Position
Job Ability     Focalization
Job Ability     Tranquility

The amount of fishing fatigue incurred has been increased for characters below level 20, and for characters for whom less than two weeks have elapsed since their first login. In addition, the quest-related items, "Ripped Cap," and "Fat Greedie," will be easier to catch for players meeting certain conditions.

Macros to target party members (), and alliance members (), have been added.
With these macros, it is possible to target any party or alliance member, including those not currently on screen. When used, a target icon will appear in the window displaying that party member's status. The icon will not appear when the macro is used to target characters on screen.

The Campaign Ops-issuing NPCs found in the following areas will now reappear 15 minutes after completion of server maintenance:
Southern San d'Oria [S] / Bastok Markets [S] / Windurst Waters [S]
Resolved Issues

The following terms have been restored to the auto-translate dictionary:
Weapon Skill / Detonator

The potency of the dragoon's wyvern ability Healing Breath will now be adjusted accordingly when level restriction has taken effect.

Known Issues

In Fields of Valor, canceling a training regime by way of a job change will result in players having to wait one Vana'dielian day before being able to undertake another.
*This issue can be bypassed by canceling your current training regime through the Field Manual.

Players who attempt to trade with another who is already doing so will be shown an unnatural system message.

The rare item icon is not displayed for the Hero's Combat battlefield entry item, "Cordial Invite."
*Only one of these items can be in the possession of a player at any given time.

When talking to a map marker NPC, the marked locations for outpost warp NPCs do not reflect their new positions.

English Version Only

The name of the following item as it appears in player inventory has been changed:
Acantha Shaver -> Acantha Shavers

In the help text for the scholar's new Group 2 merit point ability "Enlightenment," the reduction in recast time is incorrectly displayed as 1 minute 30 seconds. The correct figure is 1 minute 15 seconds.

--------------

The introduction of the new "Moblin Maze Mongers" system originally scheduled for this version update has been delayed due to extension of the QA period. The specific release schedule will be announced on Topics as soon as it is decided.

I don't know why you guys waste your time farming items worth next to nothing, BCNM!!! seriously... i think i've farmed twice in this game and most of the time i have more gil than i need. i often give stuff out cuz i don't care. As far as i remember it was easier to get and make gil before the first huge RMT cut and gil liquidation. Oh well ppl will be thick , get over it !
so now what?

Rant warning! If you wanna flame me go for it. I personally don't give a F**K at this point anymore.

So in all fairness...what are we supposed to do to keep a steady source of gil coming in?? Crafting is a joke (anyone who crafts can assert to this)...missions/quests are ok but many are non repeatable...farming just got the nerf now too. What do we do?

I hope,(but seriously doubt)that someone from the SE "development team" is reading these posts so they can "maybe" get their collective heads outta their asses for once and see that they're doing F**K all for the longetivity of this game. How many new people are gonna hang around to play this when they realize they have to spend an hour farming to buy a stack of kabobs let alone any gear.

I understand that the RMT issue is practically impossible to fix, but there has to be a balance between controlling RMT and creating an enjoyable atmosphere for legit players to experience. From what I've seen so far its just more of the same crap from SE..."nerf the good but lets add new synth recipies." All in all how many people go out and expect to make substantial money doing the new synth's? Cuz everyone needs a RED 9-drawer Almirah.
"Oh..lets go out and spend 80k on a pennon earring for agi+2 instead of spending 14k on a Drone for agi+3" The new synths are either the epitome of crap or they're way out of price range for most anyone to buy or the mats are so hard to get they're not worth the effort.
Five years of dedicated playing to this game and nothing but slap's in the face time and time again.
Maybe I need to take a 3 year holiday and come back when there's no player base left so I can AH stuff to myself for killer markup!
so now what?

I hear ya.

I think this was some sort of catch all suggestion. I am hoping they will see the player base is extremely unhappy with this and think of an alternative, again.

My idea. Doesn't hurt legit players, but hurts the 24 hour farming RMT. Goal, to somehow keep RMT from farming/npc selling a constant 24hours but not hinder the 3-4hour legit farmer. Hmmm... I wonder, limit the number of items that can be sold to NPC before the NPC turns you down and says something like "I believe I have enough for the time being, come see me another day when I might need more".

Example: RMT farming Leech Saliva for 12-16 hours straight. I am farming same item, but only for about 4 hours. I get to make my gil of a 100k in four hours(yepee) while the RMT is making 300k-400k. Implement a system that after X number of leech saliva sold to NPC, NPC cuts you off for about 8 hours, saying he/she don't need anymore. This doesn't effect the legit farmer at all, as they can log on the next night or something to farm again. Where as the RMT can now only farm for 4 hours with an a 8hour delay. This reduces their gil income by 50%. Yeah, they still maybe trying to make it work and bringing in new gil, but they are making half of what they were making and we still get to make our fast gil for consumables and gear.

Idea can be expanded on and each item they nerfed would require different limitations, but a lot better then what they currently did. Just my thoughts though.... I am still fuming over this.

See? this is what I mean. People who play this game have damn good ideas...like this one. SE needs to pay more attention to their "Comments and Suggestions" that people send em. Maybe read a few instead of just replying with a form letter saying thanks for the input. Good job!

2 problems:
1: This is the RMT we're talking about, all they'll do is create dozens of new characters to do the trading.
2: They're not immune to zoning back and forth, even if you managed to keep them from selling the same thing over and over, they would just swap that character with another RMT character in another area. For example, Swap a blood-farming bot for a cutting-farming bot.
so now what?

I was waiting on someone to say something similar to this.

Problem 1:
Yeah, a way around it would make more characters and have them just trade to their mules and then sell to NPC. They are still limited to the number of saliva they could turn in per character as they would have to have at a minimum 3 mules(including one farming) to be able to trade with the 8hour delay. This would cost them money(extra characters), especially doing this for each item they are farming, and time, as it would take time to trade 200+ saliva to a mule, sell and repeat for the next mule.

Problem 2:
As for swapping out one bot with another bot, yeah, another way around it but it takes up more of their time to move one bot to another bots location and vica-versa.

Again, their are ways around it but would cause them more of headache then us but still not entirely effect legit farmers/players. Also, idea can be expanded on as I tried to keep in a nut shell :) But good arguments you brought up.

guys I posted this in another place too after coming back from a fast trip in the castle

look at how much the npc pay these items now:

orc pircer = around 250 gil (before was like 8k)
shellbuster = around 100 gil (before was like 4k)
yagudo freezed = around 150 gil (before was like 5k)

the SE wants us to buy the gil, and now I'm really thinking they are the ones who sell tehm

ppl that farm AREN'T all rmt, and damn, in a game you kill things, you get items, you sell in ah or npc, you make money. Don't tell me to sell there 3 weapon to the ah, they sucks so much that nobody want them, and this was a good reason for them to be sold to the npc because they gave you a good and istant amount of money

A little goes a long way.

You don't have to farm 24 hours a day to become rich enough for a certain item. A little every day is really all you need. Farming and leveling isn't everything an mmo has to offer you know! There ARE alternatives besides farming though, you just have to look/research for them. Which it seems most rather run around farming than studying ^^.

I know, I know. Scorpion harness, Hauberks, peacock Charms bla bla bla, speed belt (for those who are really desperate for 30m). Don't need to have every single 100k or more items to have a good time really. I can think of many alternatives to get me by through the game without having to get a slap in the face farming for 3 days straight while I am on FFXI.

In some aspects, you are right. One does not have to farm if he/she does not want to in order to buy food, medicines for missions/quests/exp/events/endgame, decent gear--->respectable gear--->awesome gear. In return for not buying necessary items/gear, they perform worse than others, which in turn hurts their "reputation" we all preach about. It is a double edge sword and SE is coming close to getting cut. If they start nerfing gil-making-farm-spots it hurts the economy just as much as it helps. Yeah, it hurts the RMT but they most likely put their resources into more important items.

What I am trying to say is, if they reduce NPC sell price and it takes "name here" now 4 hours to farm 100k instead of 2 hours, it only pisses one off, discourages them from farming which in turns makes said person buy less items from the AH and prolongs people buying that +1 crafting item or not buying it at all. FFXI is a never ending economic circle which was brilliantly designed and one of the best I have ever seen. No doubt RMT has completely ruined this and it is very very sad that legit low level/casual/hardcore players alike have to suffer from it.

An idea to NPC'ing items could have a limit to the amount you can sell to them in a given period of time. This helps the casual player or someone looking for quick gil to farm up to the limit, 3-4 hours, then can't sell anymore to that NPC for X Vana'diel days. This doesn't hurt the legit 3-4 hour farming but doesn't let the 24hour RMT farm an item.

Like the title states we are missing something....THE FOOKIN RDM UPDATE WE WERE PROMISED A YEAR AGO!!!! this update is garbage its a giant nerf stick hitting the whole community hell you cant even farm coffers anymore. i have already quit once the only reason i came back was because we the players were promised certain things like a june update that would have a rdm update..... well SE is a bunch of liars idk what else i expected been playin this game for 5+ years and it is always the same, bend over us players; dont use any lube and ram it in a bit farther. next time i quit (which may be soon) im not comin back

I myself am a 75 Rdm, and though I don't have "good" equipment, I can do a lot of things I can't imagine being able to do on any other job. Healing? Check. Nuking? Check. Damage? Check. Light tanking? Check. I use Whm sub, and I can still solo a lot. I have Sneak and Invis to get around with, I have Raise to help out the random corpses I come across, I have Cure IV to heal with, I have Haste and Refresh, I have nukes, I have Stoneskin... the list goes on and on. Rdm is probably the most popular job in the entire game, I don't think they have much incentive to give us *more*. I'm actually quite surprised they haven't hit us with the nerf stick yet.

We ALL have something we want out of the jobs that we play and I don't see anything noticeably wrong about RDM in the first place. They get parties fast, they can solo (if a bit slow at some mobs) many mobs at 75 that most jobs can't even solo. RDM get phalanx, stoneskin, refresh (for constant heals), covert etc. Now when your comparing it to other jobs RDM have MANY things so I don't see what is so wrong with them. You get parties (jobs like PUP, BST, BLM[used to until level sync came along] are forced to solo until they can form a static or chance at a party, DRK has an overwhelming following and trying to get a party as a DRK takes a long time), you can solo pretty effectively that you can even solo avatar fights, try that with most any other job (besides BST ... and even then not all of them can be soloed easily) and they lay flat in their face alone.

The list goes on for the Pros of RDM

Ever since i lvl'd thf i've watched any and all legit farms get nerfed. The Bush economic team has too be running this games economy, cause i can't tell the difference. RMT's were never a problem more than just selling for real money.
They were a group pretty much just boosting the economy. Npcc's have nothing too do with or do they affect the game ah. Npc's legitamately brought and helped build the economy. Why? Their prices never changed. Not everyone really has the time too spend 30hr's a week farming and for those of us with multiple 75's we have alot of other stuff that costs gill too do... Its somewhat starting too get insulting. i can say this is the last online roleplay game i'll ever touch.
Too many people who have no clue..
Byebye my <3ly lil Bugards. I have a real job too deal with. i'ma just start using lvl 1 gear too 50!!.

Great, less farming alternatives. Pretty soon, no one will be able to afford all the expensive gears... wait that might be good. We need a price deflation. Some of the items are way too expensive. It's the result of AH price manipulation. Hold on to your gil to make these price fixers go bankrupt.

So what would happen if we all get some kind of SE(govt.) bailout funding? lol

Only thing that will be left to farm is.....gil. Killing beastmen will end up being the only way to get ahead. Well, that and chests, coffers, quests rewards. Hmmm....RMTs might actually have to play the game.

Then they will nerf that too.

Pretty soon we will all be able to log on and have absolutely no way fund ourselves. Maybe then the dev team will just give us each a small stack of coins each month that we have to budget ourselves on. Everyone will get the same amount whether they play much or hardly at all. But no one will get alot.

Over all, a good update but this just pushes me more to finally quit. Obtaining gil is my biggest headache and seriously do not want to spend f'ing 6 hours to farm up 200k gil. I am not saying give free handouts but stop nerfing sh*t that legit players farm to make some kind of gil. I am always looking for farming spots and just recently, last week or so, stumbled upon Leech Saliva. Great drop rate, NPC instead of waiting on AH, many spawns and not alot of competition.

I hate WoW and refuse to go play it. FFXI is an absolutely awesome game but GDI the ten hours I am on a week I feel like I have to farm. RMT go after the big ticket items now like Khroma ore. I tried mining that sh*t but with all the stupid RMT Tarutarus running around you can't get any mining spots. Their entire AH is Khroma ore, Sulfur, Adaman ore, Bomb ash yet SE wants to worry about 20k an hour items.

Rate me down, tell me to go play WoW or just tell me to quit cause I really don't care, I am just so frustrated.

I had no idea Khroma ore was worth so much. I've been mining in oldton and newton movalopolis. Looks like I've got a new place to go now! I find it difficult to make gil as fast as I'd like. This is a new hope for me! I know what I'll be doing from now on. I still only have one HQ staff, but I never use it much because it's Aquilo's Staff. I don't use Shiva that much.

Good luck!!!!!!!! Lots of "RMT Tarutaru" running around. They have no consideration as they will come in and mine on the spot you are mining yourself. They like to camp mining spots to, nothing wrong with that but at that point the mining spot is still fair game.

I know most of you are upset at SE nerfing the bloods npc prices which I knew was bound to happen after too many people flocked to it. Eventually the RMT started farming bloods which SE confiscated when they banned the recent batch of RMT. But in all honesty, the increased drop rate on the blood wasn't for you players to NPC, but for BST's to farm blood for making Lifer Lars our spider pet. Until that patch, it was damn near impossible to craft a Lars. Lars is the Ridill of BST pets too.

Seriously, I understand SE is trying to keep RMT from making money, but there are a lot of legit players that use these methods. I would rather see SE do something directly to the RMT than the population as a whole. Frankly, the prices have dropped well below acceptable level for most things. And they ban the fish-botters so the price of sushi has actually risen as other things have dropped in price. Most people don't make enough off NPCs to offset the gil taken out by dynamis/limbus/other NPCs. Frankly, a lot of the people that sell to NPCs are people trying to get into the game. They don't have high-level crafting to make money. We can't all have 100+ mil gil left over from the height of inflation.

I would rather see SE do something directly to the RMT than the population as a whole.

You got any ideas on how to do that exactly?

The problem with the "just get the RMT" idea is that you pretty much have to get the entire population, b/c they are part of it.

Anybody could be RMT, and anybody could become RMT so they can't really just do something to the RMT besides banning.
NPC gill item nerf!!!!!

So.... why'd they change the OP Warp NPC's?

I believe they placed them closer to the Mog House. If you are/were ever a Windurstian and used the OP NPC there, this is a great improvement. Having to run the whole zone to go from Mog House to OP NPC sucked. Same with having to zone into Metalworks from the Mog House in Mines just to OP warp. San d'Oria wasn't too terribly bad imo but it still was a little bit of a jog.

That's all well and good... if it hadn't messed up my auctioning routine, lol. The Windurst OP Teleporter was placed in an ideal position for anyone who just wanted to return to town, quickly dump stuff at the auction house, and be back on their way - thanks to the [now not so] handy warp NPC closeby that could send you straight to the WWalls AH from the Orastery roof.

Now I've got to settle for running to the WWoods AH, which will take me longer than the warp system did. Granted; it's not as far as I would've had to run before, but I didn't need to run before. : P

I understand trying to stop RMT, but what about all the legit players that farm and NPC a lot of those items? They nerfed gardening, choco digging, farming, how do they expect players to make gil and not buy it from the RMT they are trying to stop?

Edit: Dont mean to only b*tch, there are some good looking updates, but this frustrates me when there is still a lot of stuff I need to buy and I use farming as one of the ways I make gil.....

Unfortunately, while I hate to say this, FFXI as a game is not about farming and NPCing items. In this pretty much laissez faire economy, putting 'free' gil into the system without any gil flowing out will end up slowly driving prices higher and higher. FFXI has, and always will be, the kind of economy that absolutely forces you, in one way or another, to interact with others in order to make a profit.

This is about as close to a real world system as you'll get in a video game; NPCs create false 'demand' where there was none. In real world markets, if you flood the market with any form of commodity, there will be serious repercussions. Here, you just end up with more and more gil 'appearing' in the system.

SE wants to stop RMTs, yes, but at the same time they don't want to fundamentally change one of the (in my opinion) most fascinating (and frustrating) economic systems I've ever seen.

WoW developers saw all of the RMT that was going on and decided to flood the market with so much gold that players wouldn't really need much of it. Endgame WoW basically involves you and the repair NPC, that's all you really need your gold for. The problem with this, however, is that people still 'feel' they need gold, so there is absolutely no shortage of individuals who are willing and able to go out and quickly farm massive amounts of gold, and then sell it back to the unwitting population.

What SE is doing here is forcing the RMT to engage and interact with the player base if they want to make any money. This makes it at least slightly more difficult for them to operate, because as we clearly know, RMT aren't really so good at this game, but they are fantastic at mindless farming.

If you feel that you have to purchase gil in order to get ahead in this game, I'm really just wondering what your hurry is. Are you planning on quitting in a few months, so you need to have those Hermes Sandals before you can feel you accomplished something?

It's depressing that because FFXI has an, admittedly simplistic, real-world economy, the exact same thing happens in-game as in the real world; people forget to enjoy their life and their experiences, and instead they focus on what they don't have and what they can't get.

>.....> making people pretty much HAVE to be on this game 24/7 to farm for items they want in the game regardless of the cost does not make sense to me. SE makes that statement every time that they do not want you to forget your friends, family and work yet they just screwed over almost every player that farms those items legit and when they have free time because I believe and "hope" most people that play this game do have a life outside it. And now they all have to find a new way to farm or get gil to receive the items they want. I have a job and going back to school while trying to play this seems kinda unfair to people who farm items to make a profit and "enjoy" the game. SE just needs to either leave certain items alone so some people who like to farm solo like most 75 thfs such as myself or start giving us a better way or chance to get gil or items. I can probably easily remember how many times I've done ODS and most of the time 0/6 good items drop that's a bunch of ******** and I know no one can argue with me on that. Then again there are times its 3/6 5/6 maybe even 1/6 good drops but its still ********* And I agree with another post about how slowly this game is starting to make people want to quit because they cannot reach their goal they would like or what they want unless they are on the game 24/7 or just farm forever and a day. Its not fair SE should be focusing on those people in my opinion. Like SE's beginning quote before the game basically says "don't forget your real life and don't stay 100 percent focused only on the game" Because it is just a game that people want to enjoy not get sucked into and making it feel like work.

Have you seen the price for an epic flying mount? And you can't have just one; you must accessorize.

Bugard skins were never really a problem either. I never made loads on the occasions I farmed them, and waiting for the Tusk's and HQ skins to sell would sometimes take a little time, and having your inventry filled with them wasn't much fun.

I also know alot of lower level players who don't have access to many of the ways a lvl 75 does who like to farm the blood's to sell to NPC. I can't se why this has to be nerfed.

I guess they just don't like us selling goods to NPC's for profit, which is silly, becasue doing so help's replenish some of the Billions of gil that gets taken out of the game by rmt/cheaters.

SE obviously have their reasons in doing so.

They really have a way to make sure no one can farm. Thank you. I level alchemy to farm/synth Remedies. Nerf. I farm Castle Zvahl for the weapons to NPC. Nerf. Bugard skins. Nerf. Let me guess, soon all items will be rare/ex and nothing can be sold to NPC. Ya that will help a ton. How about we try fixing the real problems like RMT doing fishing, AH camping, sky/sea triggers, or how about selling imperial silver coins.

If you would like to know what else I farm so you can nerf it in the future, I'll be glad to tell you...

They HAVE fixed quite a lot of RMT fishing. Its never going to be wiped out completely, but its pretty good.

AH camping is going to be next to impossible to catch. I dont even know how you would go about finding these people, and then confirming that they are actually RMT, and not someone just being "stupid" and undercutting your profits. I put stupid in brackets, because its quite a viable technique (if a little irritating) to push someone out of a market by making it unprofitable for them to trade, and then securing the market for yourself.
If you want evidence of this, look at a supermarket selling petrol. The supermarkets are selling petrol not to make profit, but to bring customers to the shop, so they can afford a lower margin, whereas a petrol station owned by a petroleum company will want to sell their petrol as high as they can to maximise profits, since that is their main souce of income. Supermarkets are slowly buying more and more petrol stations off big oil companies because more and more people are buying petrol from them along with their supermarket shop.

RMT are very very rarely in sea. Getting a whole team of people through CoP isn't easy (although its getting easier...) so you dont often see them in sea. RMT are being wiped out of sky too, as they are getting reported quickly, and the time it takes to get several characters to 75, and then the teamwork to kill trigs just to get them banned isnt worth it.

And RMT selling silver coins? I'd bet that most of the people selling imp.silver coins at the NPC arent RMT. They are legit players looking to make some gil out of the huge number of imp.standing they have accrued from meriting so much. I did it, and its a good money maker for no effort.

Can you tell i'm bored? Download is taking a long time ._.;
