The doppelganger saga unravels even more:

With the arrival of a group of infernal creatures known as Daemonic Heralds, the scholars of the ancient ways now know that the Doppelganger Invasion is the work of Lilith, the Demon Queen of Darkness Falls. The scholars who have been studying the doppelgangers these past several months have now moved to Darkness Falls itself to oversee the final chapter in this dark conflict.

- The doppelgangers who have been masquerading in the frontiers have been wiped out and driven back into Darkness Falls. Only the strongest of them remain in those fiery depths and they now call themselves Doppelganger Soldiers. They can be found throughout the upper regions of Darkness Falls and they grant a greater amount of realm points then their weaker predecessors.

- Theof Barnswallow, Mastif Tanyon, and Yahsaw Hun’y can now be found inside Darkness Falls at the entrance controlled by their respective realms. They now offer a new quest to players of level 49 and above.

- The quests Anatomy of an Ancient Foe and Further Analysis are no longer available; however, players will be able to complete them one last time if they still have them in their journals by visiting the scholars in their new locations.

- Three doppelgangers who have betrayed the Demon Queen have joined forces with the realms of Albion, Midgard, and Hibernia. These doppelgangers call themselves Seirim, Reseph, and Mavet and can be found at the entrances to Darkness Falls near the scholars. They offer two new quests to players of level 49 and above who wish to help them get revenge on their old mistress.

- A Dragonslayer Representative can now be found with the scholars at each realm’s entrance to Darkness Falls. They are willing to offer a Draconic Essence Stone to any players who assist their realm by completing the three new quests offered by the scholars and the doppelganger traitors. The Draconic Essence Stone may be turned in to the Dragonslayer Journeyman in the dragon zone for a choice of Dragonslayer armor pieces.
