Dude in the picture is karana for sure, I know cause my warrior's diety is karana and Ive allways thought karana was a chick, and I was mad when I found out cause its just a dorky old guy in a cloak.

So what you're saying about *new* game completely, so you mean like some new game to come out, Aka SWG, EQ2? hmm, In my mind, i think Eq2 is way good for itself, meaning i think EQ2 is going to be a massivly big Boring game, and will only have sertain people playing it.. SWG to me looks like it would be for StarWars geeks, like the people who sit outside starwars movie theaters for months before it really comes out... Umm, Why sit there and camp out, when i can watch the EXACT same movie in 2 months.. I think EQ is going to be the best game even if other games come out.
For a god who rules though kindness, he sure looks evil. Not saying it isn't him, just that, well, he looks evil, hehe

At the Page two of the Prologue there's a part that describes quite clearly the picture at the top of that same page:
"Without a word Karana raised his staff into the air and summoned down a great lightning bolt. The Rainkeeper disappeared in a blinding flash, leaving only Askr standing silently at the base of the towers of the Bastion of Thunder."
That's Karana on the picture of the Prologue, and by his side is Askr. The very same Karana of the 3 pictures above...

I can't wait to see what items are going to no longer be no drop, new loot on old MOBS, and new great low lv quest items are going to come out to help all the low lv characters advance faster. IE get us to lv faster and buy POP. Nice marketing play Verant. I like it.

I have not gone to the planes of Power webiste but from the clue that was given and the general look of him. I'd say it's Rodcet Nife. Just my opnion.

Gotta like the images.
As for why Karana looks mean -- well "Smile for th camera" probably didn't work but zaping him one and you get some pretty fire works AND a whole lot of personal attention for footage...

After reading the prologue the name Askr seems familiar. Isn't that the dude that got lost in the nexus behind the rocks? There is a book there now instead of 2 miners trying to rescue him.

Today is october 17, 2002. Planes of Power will be coming out in 4 more days. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Just thinking about seeing new planes and all those quest in plane of knowledge gives me goose bumps. I WANT POP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude looks pissed. Guess someone jacked his copy of "StormLords Weekly." I suppose the four tines on his staff represent the four cardinal directions, indicating his fury can come from anywhere. For a "Good" or even "Neutral" god, dude does look pretty Ticked. The dark skin I think is based on the storm and rain, and the glowing eyes to represent power, but I still cast my vote for Mith. Marr as the kewler looking guy.

Yep, if you look at Episode 2 on the PoP site, it's definitely Karana. As for why he looks angry, the prologue sort of implies it...
So maybe he's been possessed by Agnarr now?

Oh yeah, that's SO much cooler than actually paying attention to the clues given and using your BRAIN. Karana's image was included in the Prologue.
