why cant they find out whos causeing dis problem , im getting tired of all this pol-011 messsages coming up everytime i try to log in

I have a great idea for a game. And I could all use your help. First I need you all to pay me to attempt to play a game. We will offer a free first month for new membership. What you will need to do is log in download a patch for 6 hours. Then you can try to jump on and possibly get on, more than likely not, because I have pissed a grip of hackers off and now all they do is attack my sight. You if you’re like me you've played ff since the 1st one that came out and bought all of them since. I love ffxi save this last month and all the Gil sellers jacking all the prices up to 15 mil for peacock charm?! I do understand it's awesomeness but come on I’m a normal guy that can't afford that. And I can't compete with a linkshell that camps it when it's a 24hr spawn. Open this up stop the monopoly the gil farmers are killing the game, and are probably responsible for the attacks on the site. Just guessing though

Well, I am so aggrivated, but i have to smile when i read all your posts. ITS NOT JUST ME, WOOHOO! Yesterday at 8am EST i was playing (couldn't sleep) and noticed i couldnt do anything in the AH. So i figured - I'll relog and it'll clear up. Bad mistake. For the next few hours I grew more and more aggrivated as i second-guessed my internet connection, computer, virus software, server down, etc. I checked the usual websites w/o any word of server problems. Finally I walked away and came back about 1pm EST and logged in, no problems.
Today - 8am again, same problems started. How strange it started at 8am again. Of course there was nobody that spoke English around so I could ask if I was the only one having AH problems... Well, I couldnt do anything else at the time (my inventory is fully loaded - no mules thank you) so I figure I'd try and relog again. I had to - just to see if it would happen 2 days in a row. of course, here I am writing more complaints for everyone else to read whos aggrivated like me. But i smile in the satisfaction knowing I am not alone.
I contemplated on the idea of some sort of refund, as I figure, SE owes me a quarter for my game loss time so far the past 2 days. I'll be keeping track SE.....

It sucks to not be able to play FFXI, even more so for us who have the day off. Hopefully the problem will be fixed soon enough and people can stop complaining. It isn't like whining about it will help things move faster. I, however, will go play some halo 2. Anyone else up to it, gamertag is Ag3nt Xk.

Tried to log on, still getting "Error code: POL-0011" At this rate I might just cancel my account for a month and hope they fix this DDoS problem.

I think i have discovered the problem. Too many of u have too many characters and are subsequently paying a considerable monthly fee. It now takes even longer and requires more man power to count and bank all this money, which sadly results in more server downtime!! :D

I also have to agree with those of u encouraging we engage in rl pursuits while log in problems remain. I mean ive been sitting here for 4 hrs now trying to get on, thats a good size jigsaw puzzle i could have completed! In all seriousness u r right, im of to the store to buy a big slab of beer and catch up on some drinking ive been neglating while trying to remain focused in Crawlers Nest searching for that damn chest for my af2 ><

Well i had today off of work, so as usual the servers are down. I am fated to not being able to play on days off, so it's my fault! {I'm Sorry}
