So i can get on, but once i get on all my emotes are black. my emotes have a black line going across it and my screen is black...any ideas about how to fix it?

I need to play @!#$! Why can't I play i want to play! Is it becuase there are so many people trying to get on?

Personally , i hate the new patcher, it's way slower and , more laggy, I wish they'd give us the choice of switching back to the old one or keeping this one, or something, the old one didnt freeze up every other time i tried to patch...

My friends and I "4 of us from the same area in RL" are all having the same problems, could someone who was lucky enough to get on please post some screen shots? We are dieing to find out what our beloved EQ characters are going to look like!!!! Maybe a pic of a new mob even, just something from today please

Ok this is how it is fellas! I'm numb atm and cant feel my feet. I have been sitting at my computer gasping at the screen for like 6 hours... in aww.. trying to get this thing working.. IM AN ADDICT ! OK OK! I NEED EVERQUEST!

How many problems has this patch caused? I've read all the threads so far here, and everyone seems to be having a different problem.

For me anyway, patcher (when I can get it to actually connect to the patch servers) says I don't have access to modify/not enough disk space/need to be administrator/yada yada general download error etc.. Seems like it can't overwrite the files that already exist in the Everquest folder. But that's just me seems everyone else here has something different.

Just wondering if anyone who went out and bought EQ/Luclin for the first time today and did a clean install still has problems? Probably hehe. I totally expected this to happen, and I totally expected not to be able to d/l the patch today because of congestion. Why did i expect this? Duh, it's Sony here. I mean big corporations always overlook these little things and ruin their big day. Lol. Seen it happen with just about every hyped up upgrade from many different software companies.

Oh well, at least Allakazam site works ) - and they're even able to handle the load of all us crack heads that can't get our Everfix. They even managed to update their site succesfully ! Yay, you guys ROCK!! anyway, just my 2cp as always.

This has been a pretty crappy day for me. I was sick today to begin and so I stayed home from school and just waited for the servers to come back up = ) Well, like usual, 8 hours later than they should of been they come up.../sigh.Amazing...anyhow when it finally did work after double clickin EQ icon about 4,000 times, it gave me an error about EVERQUEST.EXE. I thought it was my part so did scan disk, defrag, and restarted a gabillion times and it still is not working. Please fix this soon Verant ! I am just glad I found this link to know I was not the only one who could not connect,that was a relief because I thought I had a computer problem or something which would of made matters worse. Well guys just thought I would let out a lil anger on this screwed up matter. I'll see you all on as soon as they decide to fix this problem...(whenever that will be.)/em minimizes and double-clicks EQ icon again...

DAoC is new at this and they still did a much better release job. I don't want to give up on EQ but sometimes Verant makes it hard. I hope the wait for me new feline is worth the wait. Guess I'll have to stay grounded in Hibernia untill I can catch a ride to the moon.

I keep trying to login and it wont let me connect it just keeps saying im not connected I dont have lucin and I shouldn't be punished is it just me because I also deleted everquest and reinstalled it are the servers back up tomorrow dec 5 or what it is driving me crazy I just got the game and was getting into it and I cant play it So what im saying is will I be able to connect tommorrow or what

OK i keep getting the *you are not connected* line and im wondering whats up with that i have my conecion up and its still not letting me in the stupid patcher,anyone esle getting this problem? wow i wish i would have found out sooner, hell i reformatted, reinstalled and even switched internet service providers. i even took today off work to explore. ohh well time to relive my old high school days of staying up till 5am and sleep on the job
