I put the zipped files in my EverQuest folder and it is still finding files I didnt have or it thinks I need again. Anyway TY 8) for the help, I am atleast past the lock up point of eqgame.exe

shouldn't need a password, mine unzipped them just fine. if ur using anything other than winzip to unzip them that's prolly the problem. go get Winzip from www.download.com

Even though I am not a doctor I think I have a diagnosis of what is going on here.

1)Verant/Sony is suffering from "rectal cranial inserction" for believing that SoL would actually work with 12hrs of it's sceduled up-time 8am PST

2)And all of EQ junkies out there I believe that our diagnosis is we are all getting butt-rapped by Verant/Sony.

hehe default is c:\program files\everquest

unless you installed different that's it.

Now that blows... i mean having to upgrade your operating system..and i mean that is not cheap...i am not sure i will able to play do to my graphics... i think it might be intergrated into my comp..not sure though waiting on tech support to tell me if that is soo..

Well If were all bein honest here I went out and upgraded my pc just to play everquest (was about time ne way was running a cyrix 188) EQ prompted me to go buy a nice new shiny pentium 4 presario witgh xp installed 1 week b4 it was on the shelves =)

well still got win95 so can't play eq at all
funny how they say DX8 then say DX8.1 soon as servers go live..... *looks at system requrements for Classic everquest* Nope nothing about no win95

doh i don't even have SoL and can't play funny thing is I was patching when i saw that bit of info on eq Forums...

ya ya win95 old but geez it played Velious,Kunark,classic no problems (4 year old factory install win95 too(with fixes and all dx8.0a :p)

hmmm does SoL come with copy of win98 or better??
umm i am guessing not.. Am i the only one with win95? doubt it.....

Upgrade to win98 you say?! give me $199 + new hard drive to put it on...

umm ya, im with stupid, whats my destination to unzip these files to ya figure? is it the eq file type thingy on hte hard drive? (click on icon for settings and cut and paste "target"?

Allakhazam is a pretty damn nifty site, only gripe is not being able to access quests by class without paying 9.99 for three months, good cost tho if i ever get around to it =) thanx for the website and post opp =) 53% of luclin now btw, pepper man rocks

well what happened to 8 am gst? oh well...you would have thought they might have known this may happen but thats what you get for thinking i guess. for those who did get on for the short time they were there, was it all it's cracked up to be? i know there is a lot to work on but was there any real difference besides the fact that you have a tail and orange fur?
