I think Allakazham should disable postings on these news articles unless you are at least a scholar....

Or just disable it all together. I'd rather have no access than have to read this trash while trying to see what others legitimately think about this downtime.

From Oct. 18, 2004 16:00 to Oct. 19, 2004 00:00 (GMT)

Now, GMT is +8 hours on PST and +5 on EST, so that means that SE have told those poor Euro people the wrong times for maintenance on the servers - I live in the UK and I play on Kujata and have a friend who plays on a Euro server and he still can't get on. I guess I have at least another 30 minutes to wait, /sigh

BTW for those that are ranting in this thread, why???? Does it affect you at all if ppl want to moan? No, so don't worry about it! Just feel sorry for the first 'too weak' mob they kill out of pure frustration when they can finally log in!

It's true that GMT is +8 compared to PST, but right now we are in PDT (until Halloween), and PDT is -7 to GMT, so the times are correct.

I agree, but my rant is justified in that, in order to find your good information (possible of posting bad downtimes), I have to read through 70 posts of garbage.

A pity everyone who is posting here concerning about the time... either they are upset that FFXI is down, or they are posting about the posts that are griping about the downtime... I even pity the guy who said that he hates the people posting about the posters posting about the downtime... I also pity the guy who thinks it was cool that he typed something about his "g/f" doing something to him while he waits for FFXI to come back up. (btw... no one cares)

I even pity myself, because of me posting about all the posters posting about the posters that are posting because of the other posters...
