I dont know about some of ya but i havent been abel to play for 3 days now
monday was down time for upgrade tusday i could not get patch to work and today i get SOL from the UPS driver and when i got home at 3PM i loaded it and have not gotten past the Password page AAAGGGGHHH

i need the EQ Support group too

Yea, mine said that too. I had problems because my computer was too old I guess. I already had installed directx 8.1 and it didnt work, but now it does. Also, one of my friends had the same problem, only his computer he built himself. There could be something on your system that is blocking it, but he found the answer to it at an EQ tech support site and now he is playing...hope it helps )

I have been trying to get on since 830Pst it is now 1115 have finally received some files still getting messages of not enough space on hard drive, woot file scan complete dont know if im logging in or not....

everyone is gripeing about the down time and want refunded for down time,do the math 10 dollars a month devided by 2 days is like 60 cents.Try to give the guys a break i think its a great game and its worth waiting for.Even if i did take the day off to try out the new graphics,oh well needed a day off anyway.

I couldn't agree with you more, does everyone really need the extra 60 cents your going to get as a credit for the down time? I too wish they had there release timed to be ready a little sooner, but they obviously ran into unforeseen problems, and oh well, we'll all just have to wait. One day isn't going to make or break it, and the amount of time it will take them to refund everyone's 60 cents takes away from them servicing and programming the game. Is that really worth it to you.

Well, tell ya what, why dont ya think that way next time you go into any store then, to buy food , clothes, , the movies... aye, the tape broke and you cant finish watching. You WILL get a free pass for your next movie. This is a game, but dont forget, to them it is a BUSINESS. Customer service.

Hey all...im disappointed too..but we all need to write or call Verant..and voice our feelings..I am currently paying for 2 accounts like many of you..we need to be compensated.!!Ask for credit ..we all should stick together.hell Ill play the old EQ if they would get that going till the new patch will be accessible to all. Anyone agree? Waiting ..patiently..but not for long.

The station just said that they are sorry for the patch delays that they are bringing additional servers online to handle the increased load. You would think (at least I do being a server operator myself at work) that someone would of thought of that earlier. Like 3 months ago.

This is crazy how they have managed to syncronize their site being down along with several unforseen (at leasts by the PAYING customers) problems with trying to log onto the game. I seriously think that verant should consider a partial discount next month for everyone's MONTHLY subscription!!!

I used to think everquest was the greatest of all games, but i am thinking twice ,i put all my plans aside to wait for this new expansion have 2 accounts and cant get past the patches, what the heck is going on first your down for a day then you ***** the patches up so i cant even play regular everquest, i swear i will take this expansion back if you dont get your act together and will bring all my 30 friends with me.... just kidding what would i do without everquest, i might have to get a job hehe

You get all hyped over finally getting the game(s) (I have two systems and two PAYED accounts) and they dont work. Why do I fall for this vrap every single time. Same problems here only a twist....two identical systems with 640mb RAM and plenty of 3D juice and one gets to the opening screens and has even registered Luclin. The second computer wont get past the patches with the above listed messages. Thanks Verant!! (time to check out Dark Age of Camelot all?)

Well, for a split second I started to download then it kept telling me that my harddrive is in use or I don't have enough diskspace then froze. Yea, my harddrive was in use (trying to download) and if a 40 gig harddrive isn't big enough than I am in trouble. Wow I need to check the internet connection again.

Same problems here with patch except that i am getting it to start dowloading updates and i recieve 2 errors from everquest then dowload freezes .....pondering wether or not the patches are compatable to 336 modem on windows xp ops.

I have been geting check your internet connection and I/O error what a crock. We should go to the Federal Trade commission with the consistent lack of bndwidth and failure to professionally implement their patches

i have the same problem saids i have to check my internet conneciton also. then after awhile, i can finally come to the screen where it says "checking for new file, pls wait" and i've been waiting there for 1 hour or more, and the level bar remains the same, the message remains the same also. is this just a problem that i have or eveyrone experiece.

I have the same exact problem - I get the screen where it says please wait, and then nothing happens other than locking up for a bit. I guess we wait for them to resolve the issue :(
