ZAM is having a giveaway to celebrate the end of the world (or at least the end of Azeroth as we know it) and we’re giving away fifty chances to experience that post-dragonkissed world before anyone else.

How to Win
We have a thread in the General WoW forums for the contest entries. All you have to do is post a response in the thread that states what you’re the most excited about in the new World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion. For example:

  • Playing as a Worgen.
  • All the new changes to old Azeroth. I can’t wait to see what it looks like!
  • The new talent changes. My class is going to be OP. QQ moar newbs.

We’ll be collecting entries for the next seven days, and on Monday August 2nd, 2010, we’ll be announcing all fifty winners of the giveaway and we’ll then send you your beta key for Cataclysm! It really is that simple. Just submit the part of Cataclysm you’re most excited about, and you're golden!

 

Please Note: You must enter your contest submission at the designated forum thread. Any comments on this article will not be counted as submissions.

 

Additional Note: Both Tankspot and Wowhead will be having their own beta key giveaways in the next few weeks, so make sure you check out our entire network family for all of your chances to win!

++ If you're an AddOn author WoWInterface has almost an unlimited number of keys to give away.

Rules and Qualifications

  • In order to use the beta key, you must have a WoW account in good standing.
  • Posts in the contest thread that are not contest submissions will be deleted.
  • Users may enter more than one Cataclysm item that they’re excited about, but only one entry will be counted per user.
  • We reserve the right to remove entries if we feel like you're not properly participating in the contest.
  • The contest begins on July 26th, and all winners will be announced on August 2nd, 2010.
  • The fifty (50) key winners will be drawn from the pool of eligible posters at the end of the entry period.

im gonna be most excited about hunters using energy, I mean if rogues already own with it then so will hunters! also shamans are going to tank and it's gonna be awesome..because now they are like druids.

I can't wait to run heroic deadmines and shadowfang keep after I level through the new amazing looking zones and see how Blizzard can really show off their skills at making things look awesome. Deadmines and Shadowfang keep are definitely two of my favorite instances back in the day.

2 Things I'm most excited about:

1) Playing as a worgen. Up to now, undead have been the only race that I find appealing. It'll be nice to have a second one.

2) Flying in Azeroth. Especially since I'll be reliving the starting areas, it'll be great to see all the new content without having to walk everywhere. And there have always been so many places I'd like to fly around - really looking forward to it.

In Cataclysm, I'm looking forward to the new and changed zones, WoW will look like a brand new game! Western Plaguelands will be awesome, the plague is finally gone (mostly)! And Gilneas, wow, want a awesome zone. I will explore every new zone and will be called with the title : The Explorer 2.0

Thanks Zam For giving some lucky few a chance to see what it is like inside the Cataclysm of Azeroth. The one thing i am really looking foreword to is to play a worgen. i love the lore behind them and also the fact that they are lycan. im verry obsessed with wearwolvs and lycan(thrope). And to be able to play one in my favorite game would just make me so happy, also i would like to be a bear-man-dog :)aka a feral worgen druid. Thanks.

Hey the one feature im really looking forward to is the changes to the world, places we love destroyed, quests fully revamped, iconic areas changed forever and the new starting zones. I really wanna check it out in the beta! So many changes, better enjoy the world before then :D

Thank you ZAM for giving people like me a chance to get a Cata Beta key! But the most exciting part of playing Cata for me is the goblins. I play horde so this will be super fun playing as a goblin! The strting area looks so cool. I also have another reason, and that is the new class/race combinations!!! ORC MAGE! TROLL DRUID! TAUREN PALLY! HOLY COW! (no pun intended):D

thank you from zam for giving us the oppratunity to aquire cataclysm beta and now i will say my part. i would like to obtain cataclysm beta because being the new expantion for wow i would like to get a chance to tell blizzard what i think of what there doing. for example if there ais a quest taht sais kill 10 things that are very hard i could say to blizzard that if they reduced it to 6 things people would not get borde as esaly. it would also be nice to test cata as a goblin.

First, I would like to thank the ZAM Network for giving not me but everyone a opportunity to participate in the Cataclysm Beta.

Second, I'm probably the most exciting thing for me about Cataclysm is all the Paladin changes. It seems like every beta has a ton of changes for Paladins and I eagerly read every post I can find about them. So I would love to experience all the different changes as we go further down the road to the Cataclysm release. Another thing that really catches a spark for me in Cataclysm is how they're reduxing the 1-60 leveling experience. I probably care about that more then I do 80-85. Because it gives players a chance to experience some of the old Vanilla end game, but re-done for lvl 40-50. Not to mention the mass amount of quest rewards changes so that everything is useful and just the class changes.

Once I again I would just like to thank you guys at ZAM for the chance to win a key.

What i am very excited about is, how the old world has been changed almost completely. flying in azeroth, the new races, but mainly i want to see all of this new phasing technology that blizzard has put into cataclysm, that is something that is getting me very excited over cataclysm, also, the new experiences for people through levels 1-10, those are the most important levels to a new player, and i would really want to see them in their new way of questing.

I am most excited about my son agreeing to come back and play WoW with me! He wants to play a Worgen.

I am also looking forward to the new changes in the look of the game. It will be like playing WoW for the first time all over again, but this time having a clue about how to play my characters.

I am hoping that Blizzard will allow for an extra character to be added to realms. Maybe allow for 12 characters per realm instead of only 10.

I honestly can't wait to see how the revamped talents will work out. I'm also really excited about the changes to the Azeroth landscape and the new Goblin and Worgen areas. The whole expansion has me pretty psyched actually.

what i am most excited about is the new quests and the new questing experience - im sure blizzard have done an awesome job, making new quests and making a whole new questing experience. i keep hearing from people that questing in cataclysm has never been better - and im the type that would rather do quests than entering battle grounds / dungeons to level up so im really looking forward to try out the new cataclysm quests! =)
