Have an idea for a game but don't know what to do with it? Nexon has announced The Nexon Initiative, a program deisgned to promote the development of great game ideas. Anyone interested can submit their game and receive up to $1,000,000 in development funds, and land a publishing deal with Nexon.

Just head on over to the Nexon site for more details on how to enter. Currently the company is looking for online PC games that are widely accessible, have broad, universal appeal and encourage community interaction. As such, we are looking for online games on the PC (web or client) that have potential of being (or is designed to be) cross-platform.

The submission deadline is April 30, 2011. So get your idea out there today for your chance at $1,000,000!

The latest Vindictus update has gone live and with it comes a whole lot of new content. Vindictus 1.20: The Lost Artifact is raising the level cap to 60 and introducing new skills such as Shield Charge, Fury No. 7 and Reverse Gravity. Players can also look forward to new armors such as the Frost Peak Soft & Temptress (pictured above).

Don't forget about the new Hero Mode and Gauntlet Mode! To celebrate the new modes, Nexon is hosting two new events now through March 15. The Gauntlet Trials and Heroe's Path Events will reward players with Nexon Points and Fusion Runes for earning titles in the new modes.

Nexon is offering fans a little extra incentive this Valentine's Day. By purchasing flowers through FTD, players will recieve 10,462 NX for themselves! Head on over to the Vindictus site and follow the prompts. Points are awarded after your purchase is made! So don't forget the to share the love, and get a little something for yourself while you're at it!

Nexon has released a new trailer for the upcoming Vindictus: The Lost Artifact update coming February 16. The team is boasting the biggest update to hit Vidictus to date. The new update will increase the level cap from 44 to 60, add six bonus chapters and debut the new Hero mode and Gauntlet mode.

The Lost Artifact update also adds two new areas to Vindictus: Hoarfrost Depths and Hilder Forest. The trailer highlights all the new content as well as vicious new mobs in the new areas, including Yetis, new Kobold variants and more.

Nexon is getting ready to bring Valentine's Day to Vindictus. Update 1.18 will be released today, Feb. 1, and with it comes a myriad of Valentine's Day quests, items, and armor.

From Feb. 1 through the 14th get a coupon good for Permanent Valentine's Day Inner Armor in the Valentine's Package! In addition, the Valentine's Package features a special 30 Day Valentine's Necklace which provides a boost of DEF +1000, LUK +20!

Participate in helping Tieve retrieve her stolen chocolates or spend some time fishing in hopes of finding a special Valentine's Jelly in the waters. Hook one and get a very unique title!

The Vindictus 1.17 Shadowed by Darkness update is now live and bringing with it lots of new content including the Blood Lord raid boss. A group of six level 41+ players can take on the vampire lord to get the materials they need to craft the Nightmare Armor Set.

The newest update also brings the Football Event. From now until February 8, players can try to kill bosses with a giant football to earn Football Uniform Coupons. Three of these coupons can be exchanged for one of five Football Jersies. Kill more bosses to collect them all!

The update also offers new hairstyles, facepaint and body tattoos in the cash shop. Check out the Shadowed by Darkness Youtube video after the jump!

The first Vindictus Producers Q&A Video has been released on Youtube. The video features Producer Jaeho Hwang and Associate Producers Chris Gyselinck and Wil Sim answering fan-submitted questions. They tackle questions ranging from "How much coffee do you drink when you're trying to get a patch out?" to "What is your team goal and personal goal for Vindictus over the next five months?"

The Blood Lord is coming to Vindictus! This challenging raid boss will make his first in-game appearance on Jan. 19 in the mission "Shadowed by Darkness." A group of six level 41+ players can take on the vampire lord to get the materials they need to craft the Nightmare Armor Set.

As Vindictus gears up for the next update, a week of special Double-Up Events has been announced! Every day from 4-6 pm PST through January 18, players will get double the rewards for battle. Every day will bring a different reward, so don't forget to log in daily. The schedule is as follows:

January 12, 2011: Double EXP!
January 13, 2011: Double Gold!
January 14, 2011: Double AP!
January 15, 2011: Double AP, EXP and Gold!
January 16, 2011: Double AP, EXP and Gold!
January 17, 2011: Double AP!
January 18, 2011: Double Gold!

Vindictus is celebrating the new year with a new event! Tieve has been baking enough bread for all of Colhen and you can get some awesome prizes by collecting enough of them during the Fresh Out of the Oven event.

"From January 5 through January 18, each character will be able to receive one loaf of bread from Tieve from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM PST every day. Characters will be able to cash in 5 loaves of bread in exchange for 25 Merc Recovery Potions! The truly dedicated mercenaries who cash in 10 loaves will receive 50 Merc Recovery Potions plus a 10-Day Storage Chest Expansion Ticket!"
