In this week's BFF Report #110, ZAM's Mike B. aka fony decided to get down and dirty with the mega popular zombie survival mod for ARMA 2: DayZ! DayZ is essentially a sandbox zombie survival game where players must scavenge food, supplies, and weaponry from the surrounding countryside (or other players), all the while evading roaming packs of zombies. The premise is fairly simple but, given the sandbox nature of the game, there are all sorts of opportunities for emergent game narrative, with players banding together (or betraying each other) for a better chance at survival.

Trion has dished up another End of Nations faction trailer, this time focusing on the Shadow Revolution units. They show off their individual class of warfare - namely the Wraith and the Phantom classes - and the equipment that they each get.
Holy cats. The war between angels and demons has been a long-standing thing in the Diabloverse, and thanks to Peter Chung - director of Aeon Flux, the Animatrix, and Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury - we get to see it first-hand. And it's awesome.
In case you missed it, last week a huge exploit was found in League of Legends. Using a deceptively simple workaround, it was possible to put more points into a single mastery than the maximum allowed. It sounds like no big deal until you consider that many of them feature cooldown reduction of summoner spells, which led to this video. Watch as the Urgot zips around the battlefield with hundreds of instantaneous flashes, insta-killing Baron and dragon with Smite spam. It has since been fixed, but I think it's worth it just to see this video.

Just as last season, League of Legends - currently the #1 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game - swings its popularity hard, putting all of the world's best teams into Season Two's World Championship in Los Angeles. Last year, the grand prize was a cool five million. And now the stakes are set at a cool three million dollars. All the biggest teams will be competing - Dignitas, Counter Logic Gaming, Team Solo Mid, Epik Gaming, and Returning Season 2 Champion Fnatic MSI - as well as plenty of the potential newcomers that have sprung up in the preseason. As last year, it's going to be an incredible set of games.
